i'm so happy and feel so blessed to have a church family. reading some of these posts makes me realize that with all the available churches... it is difficult to find one that fits.
*prayers*
one of my neighbors has started a bible study for people who haven't found a church. they read the bible together... pray, talk debate etc. .... :) when i first learned of this i thought nothing of it. now (not this right now) i see it as a ministry and outreach... it's still fellowship and growth.
my church offers home studies too. some of them are on church days, because some people work and the home studies cater to people's hours. i say if a church doesn't have something we need... then we should petition the chruch to allow us to make it.
in our church, if you want to start something.. the answer is yes. now we have over 100 groups. some do hobbies together, some pray, some read scripture... we even have a teem of extreme sports and stuff. any way to bring God's people together... and get others excited to try it out is ok by me!!
if you are not where you want to be... make away. God promises to bless those who are in Christ. all good things come to those who love the Lord. Fallow me and i will make you fisher's of men: continue to meet and break bread...:groupray:
