I'm wondering if anybody out there are with the Methodist Women in your church. Last Saturday, I got elected as the president in the Methodist Women in my church and if there are any members/presidents/anybody holding any position in the committee, perhaps, we could exchange ideas.

I'm not sure that we have that group in our church. What are they all about? If we did, I'd probably join. I'm a woman, training to be a local preacher. We also have a woman minister.

The old name of Methodist Women was Women Society Of Methodist Church. We help the women in the church to grow in Christ, supporting one another as women, reaching out to the less fortunate and have fellowship with one another.

Oh. I've only been a Methodist for a few years and have not heard of that. But I believe there used to be a group in this country called the sisterhood. I think they may have changed their name to "young mothers". We don't have a branch in our church, but several of our elderly women belonged to the sisterhood.
