I would like to tell you all here that this place has been such a blessing to me!

I am a moderator at another Forum and found you all after taking a leave of absence from there to get some peace, as that forum was getting too hot and mean spirited for me. :(

I hoped that leaving for a while would help the other moderators and the owner realise that relationships are sometimes more important than one's POV .

Well after going back, it hasn't even been a month and the abuse has started again. It is very sad indeed, especially as now I see that there are places out there that can and do operate in an atmoshere of respect and love like this one.

Y'all are really an inspiration to me, as everytime I tried to change the "other" place I was ridiculed as not being realistic....It seems according to them; that in order to have a discussion about anything one must be able to "handle" any response that is thrown at you, no matter how mean spirited it is.

I appreciate all of you here for being quick to settle issues in a friendly, loving, repectful, considerate, peaceful, manner.....You may not realise that you do, but I have been watching you all for over a month now and it's true, you all work real hard at making this place a wonderful place to come to. The moderators here are wonderful at keeping this a safe place for all to enjoy.:groupray:

I wish my old forum could see the kind of place that exists here....I'm so sad that they choose to act in such uncaring ways...but I am happy to be here with you all.

If you think of me, pray for me as I have to decide what to do. :prayer: Should I just quit, or should I stick around for the sake of the few people who need protecting. It is so sad as I have made many friends there...

still happy to be here with all of you ,
Tishri1

The love and respect we extend to each other even if we disagree is the best example we can show others of our walking in the love of the L-rd and it's wonderful to hear that that it has been witnessed here with us.
I will be praying that the L-rd lead you in your decision and fill you with His peace. Sometimes we're called to battle, other times we are told to flee so that we are selves don't become drawn away. Either way, you need a place to spend time that fortifies and nurtures you in spirit and I hope you know that you are most welcome here.

Thanks so much and I do feel so at home here. And yes what a wonderful testimony this forum has, you can tell the love that's here...people know what is most precious and important...people...then knowledge:)

well I invited my best friends, and I have one more person to include who is also a moderator there but is sooo precious, I need wisdom though cus I don't want to cause division only let them know where I am and hope to fellowship with them here where I can be ME...it's very difficult but Vis 's advice has made me feel so much better about my situation. I can't wait for everyone to meet these precious friends of mine....

Don't look at it that way, what you invested was in people, not the place, the only time those two will be in harmony will be in Yeshua's kingdom. So, we are glad you are here, but I will warn you , we aren't perfect either. Temperatures rise around here but there are enough rules for any occasion! :) But we are glad you find us a little more restful. Just know that it's not always what we want to do or what we feel comfortable with, sometimes the L-RD wants Us in a place that isn't so comfortable for a reason. This earth isn't heaven, that is what we look towards, but ours is to do his work while it is still day. I see you have a big heart Tishri, and many story to share, and much to teach others, but know, that no matter where you go, it you have the truth you will not be popular, even amoung those you call your own, that is what being called out means.

Perhaps if moderating is too much you can just remain there as a member, knowing you are watched but letting the L-RD shine through to a ready audience. ;)

I hope I haven't stepped on your toes, I just felt compelled to respond to this thread today and write this.

Shalom

See You just proved my point Zayit! Even though nothing you said was too hard you still end you post by letting your love and care show!

The other forum started out that way...we were all there from the beginning and I think everyone was getting use to each new person and personality... now there are moderators over there who are warm and inviting but....well lets just say here is where I feel free:clap: which makes my visits to the other place all right (though not as much fun).

I feel exactly the same as you, that I may need to stay as a light, and to visit, but I did pm my closest friends and let them know that here is where the real relaxed me will be.

The ones I am at odds with I still pray for even when I think they need a spanking too. And I really pray for the ones who get attacked, and I step in when it goes to far, only a few of us do that over there...here I see sooo much more intervention and that's been a delight to witness:)

Yes the rules here are for protecting all of us and I have seen them at work... I've seen a few scuffles in here and that's how I know the whole thing is working when that happens, but also I must say you are all really trying too(through your own inner rules- the love and respect that just seems to be in your hearts) even if you don't know it...your all walking in love...really, I've seen it and it is amazing!

Kudos to all you-o's!
