I had an idea. If this was a real chapel, we'd need stuff for it. So, I am supplying various things. First off, the Chapel crucifix.

Since I'm the only priest (I know of ) on here, I thought it would probably be appropriate for me to supply the chalice and paten as well...

I thought a Basilica was just a really big church/cathedral.

Hey, it's ok. We're just building our own version of St. Paul's Cathedral! That said, we need some pews. These are from St.Paul's church in Columbus, Oh. The diocese recently closed St. Paul's, so they won't mind if we borrow these.

I thought a Basilica was just a really big church/cathedral.A basilica is a cathedral that has the honor of a special papal 'privilege', regardless of the size-- although most of them are larger. The pope can ONLY spend the night in a basilica. (The Vatican is a basilica). There are only a handful of basilicas in the US, so when there is a papal visit, he must stop at one of them for any overnight stays.

Oh. That would explain why the one in Stockbridge is so very small. Well, I guess we're just making the Cathedral church of STR, then.

It would be fine with me if HH JP II wanted to spend the night at my parish.

It looks like St Pauls Episcople in Salt Lake City Utah! That's where my Grandma goes to church, and I think that's where I had my first communion. I can't remember. That's where I was baptized.
Slainte!
