Tomorrow, I have my oral exams before the Conference Board on Ordained Ministry. Passing means I will be admitted as a probationary elder in The United Methodist Church. I go before 3 different committees, each for 20 minutes. The Committees are: Call and Disciplined Life, Preaching and Bible Study, and Theology and Doctrine. I am a bit nervous--this is the culmination of 8 years of work. I start at 9:00 AM local time (19 hours from this post) and will know of the outcome by 12:00 NOON.
I would appreciate your prayers.
