Has anybody seen Larkin's illustrations of end times, prophecy and the bible?

He was a pure dispensationalist.

Without the understanding of where all the prophets, apostles come from in their understanding of what they wrote ...aka....the jewish mind.....the interpretation do take hard lines that God who is infinite would have never wanted. MAy our minds be open the the wisdom of the Word and the beauty of the Word as teh Lord has wanted us to study and understand. His word is hidden in His temple, and unless they enter into the sanctuary, they will not understand the truth. We must be like minded as Christ was with His Father. May we enter into the Holy of Holy, into the presence of GOd that we may sit at the Lord's feet and learn from Him, the author of our faith, what lies ahead in the prophectic messages. I am familiar with this type of study and have found it... lacking. Not wanting to hurt anyone who may think this is marvelous work, I say to you it is a start. Keep praying for a deeper understanding, there is more that this author has no light on, keep growing in Christ, for we soon will have unfolding truth that will shine all the brighter with more glorious truth. Now truth is a two edged sword, so there is the hard part and the easy part about it. It is like the sweetness of the gathering of different truths that you have known and added it to the truths that you did not think related only to have God show in the big picture it is all related. And how marvelous it is....until you think further about it and realize the impact of this message has upon your heart, your life, and those around you. How it will effect the world and how you see it...then it becomes bitter to the stomach... for it can be really hard to take...if it wasn't for the fact that it has God's stamp of approval all over.

Yes, I have all of his charts. Brilliant and most insightful man with an uncanny gift for visualizing Scripture to the point of being able to draw the pictures his mind's eye saw. While I agree with much of his drawings, he leaned, in my estimation, a bit on the extremist side regarding the dispensationalist view. Still, I have found that we all have, in our own ways, the same tendency towards extremism and that we all have to take, with the exception of Scripture Itself, everything anyone says with a grain of salt weighing others views and opinions against the right division of The Word of God.

My favorite Larkin book is the one about the Great Pyramid. Unfortunately, I lost it when my trailer burned down and have never been able to replace it.
I think his books are just plain fun, whether I agree agree with a word he says, or not.
He's an original, with a way of thinking all his own.
I suppose thirty years ago, I also had this very long, detailed and ornate chart meant to be placed on ones wall, which I did. I must have been six feet long, and it must have been a Clarence Larkin chart. :)

Thank you, Seed, for providing the site link.

I have The Illustrated Chart of History which was designed in the late 1800's and shows a double timeline of the geneology from Adam to Jesus and from the Tower of Babel to how each civilzation was formed and from there how each country came into being. It was made by a minister with twenty people helping him and took ten years to finish. It is full color and 20 inches wide by 16 1/2 feet long. Very impressive and quite informative. I would recommend it to anyone interested in collecting these sorts of things for their library.

This is the only source on the web I could find for any thing that comes close to that. Do you have a publisher or authorial title available??
