In a Salvation Army forum, on a thread about officers, we get a quote about getting blessings for doing nothing:D :D :D

I shall say absolutely nothing about this on the grounds that being beaten around the head (or worse still, prayed for) does not appeal.

Almost official... we need to complete a Introduction to Officership correspondence course. Other than that, all the paperwork is pretty well done. Since we're not going in until 2006, we're not rushing anything.

Yes, that's the funny thing about this process... Kim and I did the psychological exams, and they still want me to enter ;) I was expecting the guys in white jackets to come and take me away, to the funny farm, where life is always beautiful ha ha hee hee ho ho hoo hoo

When I went for assessment conference, I thought they had found me out- I had to do this psychometric test thingy, and it worked out all sorts of stuff about me that I had worked really hard to cover up! But the head of the college was really sweet! And they took me anyway!
