its not for the movies, it's is for Tratos in the RPG StarWars : A New Empire. (He makes one, i mean the other half to Yoda's lightsaber to make it a green dbl lightsaber)

It happens in the pre-clone wars era. Before Episode I. Double Light-sabers weren't a new thing with Darth Maul. At least, that's according to Lucas and the other creative minds who think up this fun science fiction saga :)

well i think it would be cool to see a double-green one. i would also like to see the color orange--just think an orange lightsaber how beast would that look as u walk into a room full of imperials or jedi and just say"stay outta my way" lol

Its a computer game. I play Star Wars Galaxies too, but it's very hard to become a Jedi in it (theye don't want ppl becoming Jedi so they make thr process last for over a year)

Have you played long? I was the guildleader of Harbingers of Devastation, and played since a few weeks after launch. I loved the game it just got to the point where buffing and prepping took over 45 minutes and I just lost the desire to do that over and over. I still miss it every day though I have not played iin over a month.

You should check up on the new updates, the Galactic Civil War has been edited slightly. Faction bases are cheaper, no more being flagged and having overts kill you.
There are now three factional status', On leave (no one can attack you), Combatant (only npc's can attack you, attacking them won't turn you to special forces), Special Forces (everyone can attack you).

There have been several updates actually, you now receive rewards for playing for a certain time. First reward is at 90 days (i've been playing about 95 days), you get either a C30PO or R2 miniature, or some things to decorate your house, or you can get a thing that makes 1 harvester self-powered.

Of course, then it goes on from 3 months to 6 months, to 1 year, etc...

I'm probably going to play for a while longer, at least til 2006.

lol, yea, buff lines are still long, there is not doubt in that. However, you can also check the Mining Outpost on Dantooine. There are usually 1 or 2 there.

I personally only buff whenever I'm going to do some faction point grinding, xp grinding, village quests, or going pvping with my guild. (which I'm no good at hehehe)

The Armor Shop council has decided not to add the item that you requested. It could be for one or more of the following reasons:

Inappropriate request/controversial request
No icon/Item Name/Description provided
Quality of icon too low
Lack of space
Lack of interest
Duplicate Item
Your item may or may not be considered at a future time. Thank you for offering your ideas to the Armory Shop.

Um, hello? Darth Maul had a red one in Episode 1.

'Um hello?' back! Green is strictly a Jedi color and they didn't have double-bladed lightsabers. Also he wanted an orange and a silver one, both of which are not in the movies. I rest my case.

Locket, actually, you are wrong, all Jedi, light and dark used Double Bladed Lightsabers, from the creation of the Republic, to the Jedi Purge.
Check out the Expanded Universe books and comics, and also check out KOTOR I and II (Knights of the Old Republic) and Star Wars Galaxies. Also check out the Jedi Academy series.
Jedi eventually began using them again after the creation of the New Republic and the new Jedi Order. And they still used them up to the creation of the Galactic Alliance (when the remnant of the New Republic and Galactic Empire allied together to destroy the invading Yuuzhan Vong and after the Jedi Order disbanded from relations to any side, even the Galactic Alliance).

BTW, just a little tidbit, lightsabers were invented 9,990 years BBY (before battle of yavin)

Why aren't they being made?? So What if it doesn't match the movies. CF dont give me a list of the possibilities on how it could not have been made, give me a definite answer can't u just copy the picture i have attached and put it into the format for whatever program u guys have?

The armor here is fantasy so why can u make a double green lightsaber????
Locket why do care so much what item i request the weapon is for the RPG, "Tratos makes it" in a sense I would like to show it if CF gets its act together, I dont care how long it takes to make it, all i want is for it to be made.

thanks for your input and help for defending the cause of lightsabers for all fans of Starwars--with different colored ones people will have a choice instead of single green, single blue and double red. Mace Windu has purple--Why cant CF make a purple? Why cant they make Count Dooku's single red lightsaber? all you gotta do is copy the pics that they have, edit the color, and resubmit it as a different color. I really dont think it is all that hard to do.

First, it would help your cause to not be so rude. Second of all, the exact reason we declined your (and many other requests) vary from situation to situation, but it does fall under the list given. The exact reason this request was declined is because we already had several sabers in the armory. We felt having a rainbow of colors was not necessary. If interest is high enough (and it seems to be) we will add more. If 40 different colors are in high demand, then we'll just have to start a rotation system on them.

We would appreciate it if you stopped to consider that we are volunteers here. Creating, uploading and maintaining these icons takes time. We don't decline requests just cuz we are feeling mean that day.

i understand fully but what would happen if you "guys" would have all the items in every category in the armor -- b/c why do you have different number of items in each category next to how many items were sold in those categories? -- im not being rude, i ask questions. -- wouldnt the people that created CF have control over that? -- and i only see a red double, a green single, and a a blue single lightsaber. o ok well im looking at it right now it it has the purple and single red.

This is how Erwin (the site owner/webmaster) coded it in.

-- im not being rude, i ask questions.
I beg to differ. You demanded from us, and I quote, "CF I want an answer, not a list of possibilities."

-- wouldnt the people that created CF have control over that? --
Person....not people. Erwin "created" CF. He placed Freak4JC and I in charge of creating icons and maintaining the armory. We have no coding authority whatsoever on this site. We have very limited access to what we are and are not able to do here.

How many sabers does the armory need? Really now..that is not a rhetorical question. We try to limit items to one of each. On occasion, and when demand is high enough we will add a different version of a same or similar icon. Demanding that we do something does not help your cause.

I fully stand by Liberty Chic and her decision. She is one of the ones in charge of placing items in the armory and if she declines to add something then she is fully right in her decision, especially when she provides a perfectly good reason as she has done in this thread.

Being rude and demanding things never gets by, on the Internet or in real life. Also, let this be a reminder that all forum rules apply here - this includes flamming. :rules:

ok proudfoot, idk, i thought a big site like this had a few creators. -- yeah nobody wants the possibilities why something cant be done or fixed, they want the direct answers, the straightforward answers. dont you want the direct answers sometimes when you want somebody to stop playing around with side comments on days u dont feel good? i know i do. -- and the armory could just have different colors for lightsabers there are only 2 types, plus its kinda boring to have the movie sabers, can i ask how much work it really takes? is it possible i could help at all in making items too? i would have to get them approved first of course, right? -- and lastly the proudfoot comment made me feel that you were throwing it in my face my personality hates it when ppl throw the littlest of things in my face. but i know u know more than me on this site, it is just that i thought i was being rejected a little too soon and because i saw that the Tie Interceptor was asked to be made right after my thread and it was already in the armory so i was a little jealous and i apologize.
