Usually somewhere around midnight - typically everyone else is quiet and asleep by 10:30, and then I get some quiet time. ;) But, like Wags, staying asleep is another matter entirely! My little one (well, 15 months old!) usually wakes a couple of times during the night still for a little milkie - but that just requires rolling over and plugging him in! :D So, unless he's really restless/sick/teething/cranky/wanting to play at 3 am, I'm not loosing too much sleep. *LOL*

Nothing like co-sleeping & breast feeding to make life easier!
But you aren't giving me much hope - mine is only 10 months old, I was hoping for sleep sometime in the near future.:sigh:

Nah ... you won't get sleep until the youngest is married and living in his/her own house! Seriously, though, our 3 1/2 year old will still wake once at night, usually 4-5 times a week, and ask my husband to come lay down with him. I think, though, we were blessed with babes who don't value sleep quite as highly as my husband and I do!

Hmmm.... so maybe we just keep co-sleeping unitl they have had enough of dad's snoring and retreat to their own rooms. I knew we got a king-size bed for reasons other than there being enough room for the dogs and cat to sleep with us too. Talk about a family bed! :D Actually the dogs have pretty much gotten the boot since the baby came along, we let them have the sofa instead, not like they are spoiled or anything. :) But after the baby was born I needed whatever sleep I could get and between dh and our two pitties snoring I wasn't getting much. I know one large family that put two king sized beds together to make their family bed.

I don't get home from work until 2am or thereabouts, so most nights, I'm lucky to make it to bed before 4. Good thing I don't usually need to get up early, eh?

I heard just recently that 1 min of sleep before midnight is worth 4 min of sleep after midnight. And also that the liver is most effective at cleansing itself between the hours of 11PM and 1AM, but only if the person is asleep. Did people in biblical times stay up until all hours of the night, on a regular basis, like we do? I think that it's important for us to get our sleep (I say this as I'm typing at the computer at 10:40, with still a few more things to do before going to bed! :help: ).
Anyway, with all the changes I've been making to my diet, I'm also becoming more aware of how important proper sleep habits are to my health, too. If it's a sin to damage my body by feeding it unclean "foods", wouldn't it also be a sin to stay up late so often that I don't get the rest I need?
So, here's my "confession" :crosseo: (can I do that on a Messianic board? :D )
I aim to be in bed by 11, but too often it's midnight or later. And I don't always get to sleep through the night, either--Sarah's 12.5 months old and still waking at night, sometimes 2 or 3 times (though I just started trying to night-wean her). Family bed never worked for us (believe me, I tried), so that means I have to get out of bed and go take care of her, then get myself back to sleep.
So, I need to do better. Regardless of whether or not it's "sin", per se, it's still hard on my body to be up so late. So, g'night!

If I've got a computer handy it's usually between 1 and 4 AM CST....
I travel across a lot of time zones and it messed up my bio clock a long time ago. I stay up until I drop usually...then sleep until I feel rested. I passed out for a few hours in the middle of the day today and woke up at 8 PM
I'm one messed up individual when it comes to sleep because I hate to waste even one minute

Sleep? At night?! What a novel concept...
Lately I've been getting to sleep at about 3 PM and waking up between 10 PM and midnight.

See, I stay up until I drop which is usually midnight during weeknights.
However, I don't have the luxury of waking up when I feel rested... or else my dad would fire me :D

LOL! When each of my children were small babies, I thought sleep itself was a novel concept! Sometimes I couldn't remember what sleep felt like! And 8 hours straight was some long, lost dream... ;)
