Hi everyone

In another forum I saw someone post this and I was wondering if it is true. If its true its really cool! If not then I am glad I asked before I go telling everyone! ;)

Jesus' original name is YHWSH. This is YHWH with an S in the middle. If you spell YHSWH vertically in Hebrew, it forms the image of a man with a heart. If you spell YHWH vertically in Hebrew, you get the image of a man.

Umm...the name "Yeshua" is spelled yud shin vav ayin
If you mean "Yehoshua" it would be yud hey vav shin ayin
The name of G-d that you are referencing is yud hey vav hey

It sounds like you stumbled on a sacred name theory. As far as I know, what Talmidah said is correct.

Actually, now that I look at it again, the person spelled "Yeshua" 2 different ways....

The long form of the Messiah's Name is written two ways. Yod-Hey-Vav-Shin-Vav-Ayin (YHWSWA) and Yod-Hey-Vav-Shin-Ayin.(YHWSA) Yeshua, the short form would be Yod-Shin-Vav-Ayin (YSWA)
Some people add an 'h' on the end in the English transliteration. That may be where the confusion is.(Yehoshuah) Some of the sacred name folks use Yahshua, but I have never seen that name in the pointed Hebrew text. Not sure how they got that one.
