That depends on what you are looking for. Some are more accurate in a word for word way, while others in a concept or thought for thought way. Dynamic equilavent, I believe is what it is called. When comparing my Stone Edition Tanak to my KJV, according to my Hebrew reading friends, (who don't read English Bibles) my KJV was more accurate in a word for word translation.

I've always been told that the New American Standard is the most "accurate" translation. Now what exactly accurate means, I'm not sure.
