You have my prayers Iron.
The best thing to do, is to start with a friend who is as like minded as you are. Just the two of you can meet together for a Bible Study one evening, then, you'll find that with prayer, the Lord will lead others to want to join you.
You progress from there. You may have 2 friends you'd like to have a Bible study with.
You open with prayer and ask for the Holy Spirit to guide you into all truths as you study. And, you close in prayer.
It always starts of very small at first.
One way to gain interest is to have Videos, or dvds. We watched "The Passion"
And, I have quite a library of video's. You can even buy the Book of Matthew on video/dvd. And the Book of acts.
These are excellent to have on hand. Plus. There are ones which are given away freely by churches.

Simply follow the example in the NT..."where 2 or 3 are gathered in My name, I am there among you"
Just have a brief bible study, some prayer, take the Lord's Supper...that is enough to start off with. Singing is good if you are up to it (not all of us sing well).

Kinda on the same topic, how does one FIND a home church? I'm thinking that is the way I might want to go but we will be moving in about a month so won't know anyone in our new area. And I'm not super willing to start my own home church. I just don't feel lead to do so. Actually it would be my husband but he's not real willing either because of what his work schedule will most likely be.

Yes, when two or three are gathered then you have a genuine ekklesia.

Finding a church that meets house to house NT style is harder than starting one.
As for your husband, I understand that many are in the situtation where their "ox is in a ditch" and work hours doesn't match up with spiritual needs. If he has time to "attend church" then he has time to start one...the work of the Lord has to be a priority.

This is true. However, he and I have discussed this and neither of us feel the calling to start our own church. I could list all kinds of excuses but it really has nothing to do with time, money or anything else. It has to do with us just not feeling that calling at this time. Things may change and if they do, I know we will be up to the challenge. But like I said, that's just not the case at this time.
edit: I just wanted to add that not only have we discussed it between our selves but we have also spent alot of time in prayer and we just don't feel that that is something God is pointing us toward.
