The bible tells us to pray and heal. We can do all things through Christ who gives us strength. With man it is immpossible, but with God, all things are possible. I tell you the truth, if you ask anything from my Father, it will be given to you if you will believe. Ask and you shall recieve. When the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you will recieve power, and you will be my witnesses.
Has anyone here been used by God to heal someone? If not, why? If yes, then do tell.

I have prayed for healing for many years now and have not received it. I got leukemia back in 1995 and have been sick since then. I've received lots of prayers, but the manifestation has not taken place as of yet. The Bible tells me to rejoice through trials and have faith that my faith is being refined, but often I am told that I just do not have any....

I've been through alot of hard trials in my life already, mostly in just the past couple of years, due to having two abusive boyfriends. But I can now look back on them and see how greatly God has refined me for His work. I've done alot of sinning, but I've never lost faith in Him... I know I'm forgiven and that I can move on. My boyfriend, a very strong and faithful Catholic, never saw himself dating a Protestant...but that's one thing he loves about me, how strong I am in my faith even though of my past.
Now, I'm able to talk to people, who are willing to come forth needing prayer or advice, and I'm able to know what they're going through and also am able to help them get through their pains. And it's all because of what Jesus Christ has taught me through my short life so far. ^_^

I'm sure you have plenty of faith Raphe... especially with having this disease for such a long time and never giving up hope that He will heal you. Don't let anybody fool you about that... God knows your heart better than ANY human will ever. And I pray He will bless you with a healing soon, you're a beautiful inspiration for other Christians who need to know that they can trust in God and not give up.

One day I was massaging my husbands injured back. I was consentrating on healing going through my hands to his back, not really expecting anything. However my hands started getting very hot and I felt some sort of power go through me into my husbands back. I prayed that Jesus heal through me and my husband jumped off the bed commented on my hot hands and said he was healed. Praise to Jesus!

Currently I have an incurable disease in the brain that will shorten my life if not render me a vegetable in the future. At first I was scared when my doctor told me of my condition. After several quite times in the Lord in prayer, I decided that whether God heals me or He carries me through this valley, I will look forward to the day I will be face to face and in the presence of my Savior in heaven. And with my glorified body, I will touch the holes on His hands and His feet which will forever remind why I am there.

Hey Darin, it is God's will for His people to be in health, but at His time. Praise God that your eyes are on heaven, but healing and testimony are in Jesus's wings. I think you need some prayer, collective prayer.
In Jesus name, may brother in Christ become whole. Heavenly Father, would you grant him healing Lord God, that through his recovery a testimony may be established. It is not you will that your son becaome a vegetable, but a man that is active in your fields. In Jesus name, body line up to the word of God, become clean, spotless. I consider it done according to your will and my faith. Amen.

I have been used by God to leed people to the ones in the Church that He uses to heal. That being the Elders of the Church. The word means exactly what you think it does. The Elderly men in the Church all of them that qualify as elders. God will heal through them even if they are not appointed to the office of Bishop. They are the only ones in the Churches today God has ordained through his word to heal. Other than by medical remedies.
