By PaladinValer.
I've been here awhile, but I post infrequently, so I haven't seen all this place has to offer.
My name is Mary. I live in Northern Quebec and attend ST Stephen's Anglican Church here in Kuujjuaq. Our congregation is Inuit (as am I). And its only been in the last 10 years (I'm 33) that I learned Anglicanism wasn't only the religion of the Inuit. Here in Quebec, everyone other than us are Catholic. Catholics are beautiful people, of course, but it was nice to learn that there was a larger world with many people who shared my faith.
And its great to find an Anglican community in this Christian Forum!

Welcome Mary!
I hope you enjoy your "stay" with us and I hope and pray it provides you with insight, thought, and, God-willing, laughter and mirth. :)

I live in Texas and it took me quite a while to find out that everybody wasn't a Southern Baptist! :D
I make a point of scouting out the Lutheran (ELCA) and Episcopal churches along my route if I'm taking a long trip, especially if I'm driving (and I'm going to be travelling over a weekend). Other denominations are Christian and I have no problem with that -- but there's that 'comfort level' thingie and I know exactly where you're coming from in your post!
Pull up a chair, get a cup of tea, and I'll read you some nice stories from Martin Luther's Complete Works... ;)
