These are all clips from middle eastern TV.

These clips are quite interesting, esp. the ones that call for jihad. It is more evident than ever that the godless religion of Islam is controlled by none other than satan himself.

Kat, have you considered not reading the news?

Sorry. I just like to keep up with current events and sometimes they upset me, and sometimes I like to share and get perspectives from others.

It makes me want to run off to a deserted island with no TV, radio & newspapers.

Unfortunately, getting away from it all won't make it all go away. Even if TV, radio, and newspapers didn't cover these events, they would still happen. As Christians, we need to speak up about these things and not just pretend that they don't happen by refusing to read newspapers, etc. Look at all the abortions that were done before 1973. People just kept their mouths shut and it was a deep, dark secret. I doubt that there has ever been a time when women didn't get abortions. There were many, many of them before the 60's and 70's. Backstreet abortionists made quite a bit of money conducting abortions. Maybe if Christians and other pro-lifers had spoken up about it years ago, something could have been done about it.

I know this is the popular line to tow, especially when defending the "right" to abortion. But it's a sketchy premise and there's no way to prove a negative, or else my guess is it would've vanished years ago. There may have never been a time when women weren't getting abortions, but I would bet everything I have that more women get them now than did 40 years ago.

Besides, it's faulty logic. That's like saying that since murder is illegal, yet it still goes on, that we might as well legalize it.

And of course, Christians and other pro-lifers have been speaking up against abortion literally as long as there have been Christians. It's condemned in the Didache. There's nothing Christians or pro-lifers could have done to stop those activist judges from legalizing abortion against the will of the people (remember, we were the only first-world country on Earth to legalize abortion without a vote.)
