My boss was talking to me his parent's grave. He was wondering if he should clean their stone with bleach or bring flowers. What is it that folks do? Or is there a time of year that we Anglicans do something?

All Saints' Octave is a particularly appropriate time for tending graves -- at least in the South -- since it celebrates the witness of the Church Triumphant. If you are far enough north, though, by All Saints the graves are likely to be under a thick blanket of snow.

Yeah, I wouldn't think bleach would be the best. As to what to use as a cleaner, I guess it depends upon what the headstone is made of. Of course, I doubt any harm could be done with a soft brush and plain water

Ok, but it is best to clean it at all?
Isn't the green stuff growing on it a sign of life?
