The Modern Jesus Army?

Anyone heard of The Jesus Army (also known as the Jesus Fellowship Church)?
Their site is http://www.jesus.org.uk which is where I found that book of William Booth's that Andy was asking about.

If it's the same bunch, then I seem to recall that we came accross a group of them at Greenbelt a few years ago. They are pretty fanatical about their faith. We had a good time just sharing with them and praying together.


Definate candidates for the clean necked brigade.

I used to live in the MIdlands where they are pretty active. They are often portrayed as a cult. Certainly they do some odd stuff...but then as a timbrel playing, war cry selling, uniform wearing Salvationist, they dont have the monopoly on odd.
