I am kind of a history buff and one cliche that I like is the fact that history repeats itself. That being said a question always pops up in my head when Jesus confronts A Sadducee or a Pharisee on how they have lost their way and have adopted mens traditions, Like Matt 15:6. Are we getting to that point again with our different denominations and traditions.
Do you think there is any corilation with The Pharisees and Sadducees to our growing seperation of the "Church."

Yes the way the church has split all over the place must displease God.
These are just my opinions.

I don't know if it is so much history repeating itself, as it is - fulfilled prophecy as stated in Paul's letter to the Corinthians:
2 COR 12:20 For I am afraid that when I come I may not find you as I want you to be, and you may not find me as you want me to be. I fear that there may be quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, factions, slander, gossip, arrogance and disorder.

Most of the time, Y'shua is confronting a misuse of Oral Torah in his discussions with the Sadducees, Pharisees, and Sanhedrin. This has nothing to do with denominationalism.

I don't see how that has stopped . Jesus had problems with them . Paul finally had some writings and understanding of them because of the problems that he had with them . Before , during , and after the Reformation there has been a continual showing of it . I can't see a time when it wasn't a staple .
