What other forums do you visit within the Congregation section?

My ife and I are friebnds of a local Lutheran church, so I check the Lutheran forums out....Salvation Army is interesting also, Orthodox has lots of onformation, and I know people who post in OBOB so I see what they have to say. I'll take a look at most all of them, but mainly it's the ones mentioned above.

Anyone?

Ocassionaly pop into OBOB or TAW, and sometimes read a few interesting threads in spirit filled and non-denom, but for the most part i stay here.

Orthodox and Roman Catholic.

I occasionally check out other congregation boards as well.

STR, B/A, WWMC, OBOB. Mostly. I'll skim the others occasionally.

OBOB, TAW, the Oriental and Lutheran boards, and, once in a while, the Liberal and Non-demon boards.

TAW, and maybe the non-denom one occasionally. Always interested in meeting some real believing Orthodox... as opposed to most of the Orthodox that I know out here who attend because it's 'what you do'.

Mainly just here and SF/PC....

Ocasionally, I'll pop into TAW... have some friends there.

Used to bounce in and out of OBOB... but those who were around remember the war that took place there.

Ah well; their foolishness was our gain in wisdom.

We Anglicans know that you are fully Catholic, Father Rick, in every sense of the word (and definitely of the Word ;))

Lutherans and OBOB. The others on occasion.

i just started bopping around a bit a couple weeks ago
very interesting
i try to stay away too much from obob because it is so denomination specific, but i probably feel the most comfortable there (other than here of course)

i figure non-denom and spirit filled forum really cant complain too much about anything i say, since basically by definition very few set beliefs
ohhh

and i like liberal forum pv once posted a link there that i loved ,, thanks paladin
but liberals are apparently too lazy to post much (i like to think it is because they have better things to do)

I always read this one, and sometimes the Lutheran one. I find Lutherans interesting and enjoy their discussions. I also read and occasionally post on OBOB, but sometimes fiind some of the posts there are so close-minded that they annoy me.

On a daily basis, I read the Weslyan forum (what I am) as well as TAW and this one (the ones I could easily become). I read others but with less interest and less regularity.

TAW is home, and this forum is kinda my "second home". I also visit OBOB, and the Baptist forum, because I was one for 37 years. I've also learned a lot about Lutheranism from that forum. I generally stay out of Reformed & Pentecostal forums just because I disagree with their theologies a lot, and wouldn't have anything constructive to add. :)

Father Rick,

I'm really sorry about the way you were percieved and 'treated' (for lack of a better word - if I could find a better word, I would use it) by some members of OBOB. Let me tell you that I truly appreciate you and your charitable spirit. I recognize that you are a true minister of the Lord.

Of course, I'm very convinced by (Roman) Catholicism but I love all my brothers and sisters in the Lord, wherever they may be.

Love and prayers,

Victrixa

I'm intruding in STR Congregation tonight, hehe ;)

Concerning the Congregational fora, I enjoy (besides OBOB, of course :D ), this forum here STR, TAW, TCCL (Lutheran ) very much. We have much in common being liturgical churches who love Church history! I also hang out on the Salvation Army forum because I used to be a Salvationist for quite a few years. Also the Pentecostal, I'm kinda Charismatic and was Pentecostal in the past as well.

God bless everyone

Pax vobiscum,

Victrixa

Pretty much all of them - I'm a little too obsessed with all things ecclesiastical!

Just this one...

Although I'm going to check out the Salvation Army now, since 2 people have mentioned it.

Occasionally, I'll make a foray into the Reformed section to ask questions about the Reformed view of certain points of theology; and I really enjoy the Liberal discussions -- but very often I feel about as welcome on the Lutheran forum as a person who walks into a blood bank and announces he has an active case of hepatitis!

STR feels like "home".

Well, glad to have you here with us!

(Let me know next time you'll be at my parish - speaking of which, apparently there is going to be a Lenten rosary group, meeting on Wednesdays, I think at 5:30 or 6 pm. I haven't been able to find out anything additional).

Since I do not have much time to peruse this board, it is usually here, and only occasionally (rarely) anywhere else. Perhaps if there were more time to do so I would wander around a bit more.

When i first came to CF i went to pretty much every forum here, but when STR was created i spent increasingly more time in congregational until now i don't even look anywhere else. Bizarre.

Sort of like someone who goes to this large buffet and eats a little bit of everything, but later only eats a hamburger. ;)
