Why does the male determine the sex of a child? Scientist have been trying to figure this out for years. When God MADE man in His own image and after His likeness He made THEM spirit, He took who He was, a spirit being and MADE another speaking spirit. (The Torah) The Hebrew word for make is alaph which means to bring forth thousands or thousandfold. Since spirit has no gender and can only exist in the supernatural He then turned around and CREATED them (man-the spirit) INTO male and female but in the one body called Adam, making them physical beings to do as He commanded which was to have dominion and authority over the earth. Man is the name God gave the spirit and it is plural. Create in the Hebrew is bara which means to build or to prepare. Adam means the species or mankind. Male and Female is the gender He made them to be to fulfill His purposes in the Earth. When God made Adam from the dust of the ground and breathed the breathe of life or "man" into his nostrils, that is when he became a male. God said it is not meant for man (the spirit) to be alone or all in one body. So, God MADE woman. He took her from a part (rib is translated part in the Hebrew) of Adam because he was alone or all in one and he needed someone to "help meet" the need of getting the others (us) out of the one male, Adam. Each cell in our bodies is an exact clone of us. That is why there is talk of cloning humans. Eve was a clone of Adam but in order to fulfill the command to replenish the Earth, God built her to fulfill His purposes. All of man “kind” was in Adam, the male. So, it is the male that determines the sex of a child. That was God’s design since he is the head. Oh, God is so perfect and He does everything with intent and purpose. He is the great “I am!” and then He decided to add Am (Adam)!!
