I copied this from another forum:
I won't be able to visit all the prayer threads, but geo posted the link to this one for me....
Baby was born wtih and apgar of 3 and that was generous. Blue in color, erractic breathing, 40 bpm for the heart. Praise God for the paramedics. By the time we were leaving in the ambulance she was breathing on her own and at the hospital the apgar was up to 7. Mom is fine, labor was under an hour. Her water broke at 8:34 and the baby presented feet first at 9:10, paramedics were called at 9:02 and full delivery was about 9:20. Sinead is in neo-natal ICU at Memorial-Hermman hospital here in Houston. She is having minor seizures and has been taken for an MRI.
That was earlier today. There was nothing that required emergency attention on the MRI and she is still sedated. I am home at the moment regaining some sanity after being around the medical community most of the day. Mrs. Minion is sleeping soundly and I felt I needed to be at home for the kids in the morning before the two older minions leave for their Darlin's house. Keep those prayers coming. We all need it!
Here's a couple of pics of the little one:

Thanks be to God for his loving care: Dean has deep bruising, but no serious damage. Thanks for the gifts of wealth and security that God has showered on countries that can offer good medical care, and for the medical professionals who provide that care.
May almighty God in His mercy shower such blessings on all people, and may our hands and feet be Christ's hands and feet, to do such work among all God's little ones. Thanks for our medical missionaries abroad, and for the work of NGO's that care for people less advantaged than we are. In Jesus name we pray.

I ask prayers for the family of a dear co-worker of mine: a wonderful, inspiring, hard-working Jewish man who left behind twin 13-year-old boys and a wife. He had Cystic Fibrosis since birth and recently underwent a double-lung transplant in the hope of lenghtening and improving the quality of his life. He passed away Thursday due to internal bleeding (a complication of recovery from the difficult surgery). He lived to be 46 years old--an extraordinary lifespan for someone with this terrible disease. He was kind and good to people and dealt well with his affliction. He will be missed. I pray that our merciful and loving God will take him to be in His heavenly Kingdom and grant peace to his children and wife.
