The CF Newspaper needs a name, that is unless of course you like the generic title "CF Newspaper." We would like you to be involved in the paper in some way shape or form so we have decided to hold a contest.

You must simply come up with a name for the paper, it can be anything you desire so long as its within forum rules. You can submit as many names as you like. With that in mind the winner will receive 10,000 blessings and the title that you came up with will be immortalized!

The contest will run for a week and end on 2 February 2005 so good luck!

Maybe Erwin could change the name from "announcements" to "CFNewswire" and place it as a horizontal newticker right under, or even as part of, the CF header at the top of the page. He could even add some more CF news items to it, other than just the "tsumani relief" one that's already there(not that tsumani relief isn't important!!!).:)

How about "Logos"?

Logos is the Greek word used in the prologue of the Gospel of John for "Word":

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Jesus Christ is God the Word (Logos). So it would be a cool play on words--a Christian newspaper called the "Word" using the same word used to describe the nature of Christ Himself! :clap:

Anytime I see anything with the word "tales" in the title, I can't resist reading or watching it. :)

plus, some of my best friends have tales...no, wait; they have tails! oops; nevermind

My fiendish plan is that a take-off of the name of a prominent newspaper would make our e-paper more memorable, should we also want to use our paper to assimilate new members. My hope is that if we send it out to a mailing list of non-members, they'll sit up and take notice, read it, and want to join our family. Besides, it's only fitting that an electronic newspaper be called the Monitor. ;)
