Of course!

"Here there is no Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all."

Of course. Heck, my priest is a dark skinned Lebanese man married to a wonder white bread gal. :)

My older sister married an Egyptian man. He's not white, or Caucasian, althougth he's not really sure how to classify himself, since he's not black either. But anyway, they're married and it was fine, no questions asked. He is Orthodox though.

There are six or seven Chinese-Caucasian couples at my church, some of the Chinese became Orthodox, others not. Usually it's the women who convert, I'm told Chinese women will change religion for a man more redily than a man for a woman.

There are several African American-Greek couples here in Los Angeles. The children are so adorable and look Lebanese or Middle Eastern. They are accepted in the Church. It's been hard for the couples as the relatives were not happy and tried to discourage these couples.

oh, another question: how did the different races of people in the world come about???

i have noticed that society as a whole still somewhat looks down on inter-racial couples, whether married or not....

Why do you call white people Caucasians? For Russians who have real Caucasians (i.e. Azerbayjans, Georgians, Armenians, Osetins, Chechens, Dagestanians etc.) around, such meaning is a bit funny.

i guess it's politically-correct....i still use white myself....but, that's just me....americans are, for the most part, a mixed back of races here and there....

Caucasian

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

Caucasian is originally a geographical term, meaning relative or pertaining to the Caucasus (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caucasus) region of eastern Europe (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Europe). It has in time acquired other specific meanings:

in linguistics (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linguistics), the Caucasian languages (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Languages_of_the_Caucasus) are a large number of languages spoken in the Caucasus area; often specifically those that have no demonstrated relatives outside of that region, which are classified into the South (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Caucasian_languages), Northwest (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northwest_Caucasian_languages), Northeast (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northeast_Caucasian_languages), and North-central (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North-central_Caucasian_languages) Caucasian language families.

in physical anthropology (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Physical_anthropology), the Caucasian race (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caucasian_race) is meant for a specific race (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Race) of Homo sapiens (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homo_sapiens), sometimes given a Latin designation such as "Varietas Caucasia" (sic), which does not follow the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Code_of_Zoological_Nomenclature).

in forensic anthropology (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forensic_anthropology) and census (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Census) contexts, especially in the United States (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States), the Caucasian type is a specific combination of physical attributes, especially white skin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whites).

in common usage and political contexts in the USA (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USA), Caucasian refers to light-complexioned people indigenous to, or descended from Europe (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Europe), northern Africa (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northern_Africa), southwest Asia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southwest_Asia), and the Indian subcontinent (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indian_subcontinent). In North America (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_America), Caucasian usually means a white person (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whites) of northern, southern, eastern, and western European (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European) descent, excluding people with significant Asian (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asian), African (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/African), or American Indian (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Indian) ancestry. Usage of the term "Caucasian" for "White Person" is mostly restricted to the USA (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USA).

in bartending (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bartending), a Caucasian is a mixed drink also referred to as a White Russian (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_Russian_%28cocktail%29).

As long as you marry within the human species you will be fine!

According to my limited understanding, the "racial" differences (really, there is one race, the human one) developed over time as responses to conditions of climate.
