What do Copts (sinse they are in communion with Armenians) think of the event at the Orthodox Pascha in Jerusalem when Armenians tried to obtain the Holy Fire and couldn't? Is the memorable column just ignored?

To the EO's, the Holy Fire proves to them that they are right, to the Roman Catholic's, the visions of Saint Mary (Theotokos) proves to them they are right, to the Armenians, Etchmiadzian proves to them that they are right, and the list goes on why everyone thinks that they are right. What does this prove ?

The site you linked to is an anti-Christian site, a pro-pagan site. It gives no proof of the "scam"; it only HAS to say it is because the Holy Fire is a Christian event, not a pagan one.
You agree with these "hellenists" who hate Christ and His Church?
I'm not asking you to believe in the miracle of the Holy Fire... as Dostoevsky wrote, miracles don't create faith, faith creates miracles. But I will ask you to not resort to quoting the haters of Christ to support your beliefs.

So this site claims to have knowledge that nobody else has? How did they get this knowledge? Who light's the lamp, the government?
Why would the Greek Patriarch bother to put on a show? What does he have to gain from it?

I'm not saying it's a fact, it's a possability.
I don't see why else would the fire light only with EO.

Well, those guys probably have never been in the Temple of the Tomb of the Lord at Pascha, because that article is lame. The Fire doesn't burn you the first minutes. You can watch videos, there are a lot of them on the net. And the pictures of the fire ball that the website gives are not explained. The fire ball is there and it is not an optical illusion or a defect of the camera.
Orthodox Church accepts some of the Virgin's appearances to the Catholics, however, the appearances are not regarded of as a sign that Roman Church is the true church, because Mary and other Saints including the Angels and Archangels appear to Orthodox as well. However, the Holy Fire comes only to Orthodox. Did you know that the year that the Fire will not come down will be the last year of the world?

It couldn't be that "EO" is the true faith? Don't you think the Roman Catholics have certain miracles that only happen to them? Don't you think the orthodox Armenians have certain miracles that happen to them? What would a list of all these miracles prove? Now why would the EO accept St. Mary's appearances to the Catholic's if they are not considered a part of the true faith?
Let me share a part of the story of St. Etchmiadzin
After Saint Gregory the Illuminator, who is a Saint of the RC and EO as well, who converted Armenia to the first Christian nation, Christ came to Saint Gregory in a vision and told him to build a church, which Chirst marked when He hit the ground with a golden hammer. Etchmiadzin means - where the Only Begotten descended. Here is an excerpt from Saint Gregory's dream:
“’The golden base is God’s true Church, gathering all His people, and the shining cross above it is Christ Himself. The three blood-red bases are the martyrs’ torments. But the columns of cloud show how quickly they will rise to heaven at the universal resurrection. The capital is fiery because they will love in the Fire of Divine Light. And the crosses show that they are fellow sufferers with their Lord Christ."

Im going to side with Yeznik on this and say that "signs" are not evidence of truth. I don't have a problem with Coptic Orthodoxy per se, other than I don't think they needed to reject the 4th Oecumenical Council.
I would rather see us come together again in unity as Christ commanded, rather than continue divided.

I have removed the link (and any references to it) that was to a pagan, anti-Christian site. Posting such links violates at least two rules, possibly three, of CF. I'll leave it as an exercise to the readers to persue the rules if need be :)
EO members, please be careful to ask respectful questions of the OO members here in their forum. You may ask for clarification of their responses, but please do not debate them in their forum.
