Authorities in Egypt arrested 34 people after more than a thousand Christians staged a round-the-clock sit-in at the Coptic Orthodox cathedral in Egypt's capital for four days. Since Sunday, demonstrators gathered to demand the release of the wife of a Coptic priest who they claim was abducted and forced to convert to Islam by Muslim extremists.

While Egypt's native Christian Copts—numbering between 12-15 million and constituting approximately 15 percent of Egypt's population—have long been targets for Muslim extremists according to the U.S. Copt Association, a recent rise in anti-Coptic sentiment has prompted an escalation in violence against Copts.

I do pray that there campaign is a success, and am bitterly sorry for the trials of the Christian peoples in Egypt. I pray more so, that Christians in the west will get off their behinds and do something more proactive to help their Kin!

My prayers and tears,
Kas.

I have always been concerned about Christian persecution all over the world. It is a worthy cause to support. There were miracles that happened during the time Romania was under the tyrant Cecescu. Christians were released through prayer, letter support, and the intervention worked in a mighty way!

This was one of the ways:

I'll have to check some others and return with them, if interested.
