Montreal Massacre ribbon

Up here in Canada, it's traditional to wear a small white ribbon to honour the memories of the 14 women who were killed at the Ecole Polyteechnique in 1989. Since yesterday was the 15th anniversary, it might be appropriate to make this an item.

Up here in Canada, it's traditional to wear a small white ribbon to honour the memories of the 14 women who were killed at the Ecole Polyteechnique in 1989. Since yesterday was the 15th anniversary, it might be appropriate to make this an item. I give full support to this request. On December 6, 1989 I witnessed part of this horrible event in Montreal. I was leaving my uncle's house a block away when I saw a bunch of police cars and ambulances rush to the scene. I had an eerie feeling given the number of cars and trucks on the scene. When I arrived home 30 minutes later, it was all over the news. I was completely devastated.

Every year on December 7, I give a flower to all the women in my office. I commemorative ribbon would be a wonderful gesture.

Wow. You know, I knew nothing about this. This happened during a period of my life when I was "on fire for God" and refused to watch any television at all because I believed it was evil; especially the news. Rest assured the ribbon will be added around the first of the month.
