1 "All you who are thirsty, come to the water!
Words of Yeshua? NO, the prophet Isaiah, Chapter 55
1 Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. 2 Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness. 3 Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David. 4 Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people. 5 Behold, thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the LORD thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee. 6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: 7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. 8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. 10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. 12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. 13 Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.

Myrtle, one of the four speices we wave on Sukkot.
15 Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shalt make the hills as chaff. 16 Thou shalt fan them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them: and thou shalt rejoice in the LORD, and shalt glory in the Holy One of Israel. 17 When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them. 18 I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water. 19 I will plant in the wilderness the cedar, the shittah tree, and the myrtle, and the oil tree;(OLIVE) I will set in the desert the fir tree, and the pine, and the box tree together: 20 That they may see, and know, and consider, and understand together, that the hand of the LORD hath done this, and the Holy One of Israel hath created it. Isa 41
7 Upon the four and twentieth day of the eleventh month, which is the month Sebat, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet, saying, 8 I saw by night, and behold a man riding upon a red horse, and he stood among the myrtle trees that were in the bottom; and behind him were there red horses, speckled, F2 (http://bible.crosswalk.com/OnlineStudyBible/bible.cgi?word=zec+1§ion=0&version=kjv&new=1&oq=&NavBook=isa&NavGo=41&NavCurrentChapter=41#F2) and white. 9 Then said I, O my lord, what are these? And the angel that talked with me said unto me, I will shew thee what these be. 10 And the man that stood among the myrtle trees answered and said, These are they whom the LORD hath sent to walk to and fro through the earth. 11 And they answered the angel of the LORD that stood among the myrtle trees, and said, We have walked to and fro through the earth, and, behold, all the earth sitteth still, and is at rest.

Josephus in his writings referred to the Feast of Tabernacles as the holiest and greatest of the Hebrew feasts. The seventh month begins with the Feast of Trumpets and ends with the Feast of Tabernacles. The Syriac name for the Pleiades is Succoth, which means booths
Nehemiah 8:14-17 . They found written in the Law, which the LORD had commanded through Moses, that the Israelites were to live in booths during the feast of the seventh month 15. and that they should proclaim this word and spread it throughout their towns and in Jerusalem: "Go out into the hill country and bring back branches from olive and wild olive trees, and from myrtles, palms and shade trees, to make booths"--as it is written. 16. So the people went out and brought back branches and built themselves booths on their own roofs, in their courtyards, in the courts of the house of God and in the square by the Water Gate and the one by the Gate of Ephraim. 17. The whole company that had returned from exile built booths and lived in them. From the days of Joshua son of Nun until that day, the Israelites had not celebrated it like this. And their joy was very great.
Isaiah 66:23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith God.
On the first day of the feast, each participant had to collect twigs of myrtle, willow, and palm in the area of Jerusalem for construction of their booth. These "huts" or "booths" were constructed from bulrushes as joyful reminders of the temporary housing erected by their forefathers during the Exodus wanderings....
Leviticus 23:40 On the first day you are to take choice fruit from the trees, and palm fronds, leafy branches and poplars, and rejoice before the LORD your God for seven days. 41 Celebrate this as a festival to the LORD for seven days each year. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come; celebrate it in the seventh month. 42 Live in booths for seven days: All native-born Israelites are to live in booths 43 so your descendants will know that I had the Israelites live in booths when I brought them out of Egypt. I am the LORD your God. 44 So Moses announced to the Israelites the appointed feasts of the LORD . see also Deuteronomy 16:14
The "booth" in Scripture is a symbol of protection, preservation, and will be where the saints will be when they are fleeing from the wrath of the devil into the wilderness.
Psalm 27:5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.

the everlasting sign is that the fir and myrtle replace the thorn and brier - I doubt that the thorn or brier were present in HaShem's creation..... these came into being after the fall..... it shall be a sign of His Name that shall not be cut off....

Thorns and briers, I always thought they were the same thing, or same kind of things.
This is interesting, after the summation on the "King of Tyre" ( In Ezekiel 28) who sounds to me like HaSatan we read this.

Psalm 27:5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.Interesting. Zechariah says that the feast of booths will once again be established on earth while the Lord has His "reign of iron", and the nations that do not observe it will not have rain.
I have also heard that the feast of booths is a celebration of God dwelling with His people, and the law will once again be established and come from Jerusalem for the nations left after Armageddon.
Isa.2:2,3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the Law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
Revelation 12:5 And she gave birth to a son, a male child, who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron; and her child was caught up to God and to His throne."
Zec 14:16 Then it will come about that any who are left of all the nations that went against Jerusalem will go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to celebrate the Feast of Booths.
17 And it will be that whichever of the families of the earth does not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, there will be no rain on them.
18 If the family of Egypt does not go up or enter, then no rain will fall on them; it will be the plague with which the LORD smites the nations who do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Booths.
19 This will be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all the nations who do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Booths.
20 In that day there will be inscribed on the bells of the horses, "HOLY TO THE LORD." And the cooking pots in the LORD'S house will be like the bowls before the altar.

Isaiah 30:25-27
[25] And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall.[26] Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the LORD bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound. [27] Behold, the name of the LORD cometh from far, burning with his anger, and the burden thereof is heavy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a devouring fire: ..."
How is this for a sign....in order for the sun to be sevenfold, it would have to have more than a solar flare.....As other stars that enlarge and are very bright before they extinquish....they started out with giving off solar flares...showing instability...then they enlarge...go very bright before they extinguish.
Revelation 8:5-7 an angel throws burning incense onto the Earth.
Revelation 16:8-9 "And they fourth poured out his bowl upon the sun; and it was given to it to burn men with fire. 9 And men were burned with great heat; and the blasphemed the name of God Who has the authority over these plagues; and they did not repent to give Him glory."

http://www.universetoday.com/am/publish/astronomers_supernova_high_alert.html?1102004
Supernovae occur when a star of more than about eight times the mass of the Sun reaches the end of its nuclear fuel reserves and can no longer produce enough energy to keep the star from collapsing under its own immense weight. The core of the star collapses, and the outer layers are ejected in a fast-moving shock wave.
http://www.universetoday.com/am/publish/iron_causing_flares.html
Space scientist Dr. Olivier Manuel from the University of Missouri-Rolla believes that the Sun's core is mostly iron and not hydrogen as most astronomers believe; and this could help to explain how solar flares occur.
Remember earth's core is iron.

There has been an awful lot of solar flare activity with the sun lately. It is the first indication of sun's instability...which if it escalates it will become a supernova...and it has a lot to do with the molten iron core of the sun...which the earth has also. Kind of like a polarization of two planets. only one gets sucked into the other while the other is exploding.
We have some indications that the earth's polarization will do a flip, where north pole will become south pole polarity. The last polar flip caused the ice age (theorized) and that is why the land plates separated (continental shifts).
Revelation 6:14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
The universe as we know it ....will be burned up with heat.
2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
When a sun goes supernova....it does with a big bang....
The Lord has to come rescue us, as this system (our entire universe and our solar system along with our planet will be gone) will gone.
This is why I am of the opinion that we will be taken to where Yeshua lives for the thousand years.....kind of like a freeze frame...so that we may learn what just happened. Time warp, if you will.
Isaiah 25:9 And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.
If you thought God coming as a human, born of a woman, in the flesh and dying for us was far fetched....think of the capabilities of God to do mighty works for our salvation. You know how the Lord is about waiting til the last moment before answering prayer.

Cool! thanks for explaining that.
Speaking of ice ages, we just rented the Day after tomorrow, anyone see that? About the super freeze, or new ice age coming. And as I watched I thought, why are so many people fooled into thinking we will have another ice age, for the Bible tells us the end will be with fire. :duh: ;)
But they did show spectacular pictures of the North, and Alaska, have you ever noticed inside a glasier that there is blue ice, like pure? I always thought that this was from what fell from the canopy during the flood and froze immediately like they have found the mamouth with food still in its mouth.

I wonder how pure that ice really is.... I am sure someone checked it out.
In the antarctic[1] and arctic, the oldest ice and muck is saturated with volcanic ash.
