CHANGED: IM icons from dynamic to static

Just so staff know - I changed the IM icons under the username in posts from dynamic to static icons - they dynamic icons were slowing down our image server too much.

I hope it's not too inconvenient. :)

dynamic means they had the animation, i think.

sounds good. increasing speed is always nice. i know what it's like to run a 56k, and that was on forums not nearly as large as cf.

edit: aww, actually, can you keep the same icons as before? i like the looks of those better. just without the animation? :P

I think 'dynamic' means that the icon shows whether you are online or offline.

Nope, I'm perfectly fine with it. It's not an inconvenience at all. In fact, I'm glad. I always had problems with the dynamic icons not loading. For those who don't know, a dynamic icon is an animated icon. A static icon is a non-animated icon. :)
