You had a picture taken of you at a bbq, and there is no beer in your hand
Do you have a fever? Perhaps your hands were paralysed and you couldn't hold a beer mug. Are you possibly schizophrenic and it was your French personality that was photographed?
Please tell us Michael, is there anything wrong?!!!
There is of course the possibility that your mother photographed you as you were approaching the bar ;)
OUTRAGE... Barby and no bear... DAS IST UNBELIVABLE! LOL

No, I just had to drive 4 hours home and didn't want to deal with making sure that I was able to drive safely with all of the cars on the road and the police and all. I know, I was at a bbq and didn't have any German Bier. IS OUTRAGE!

That is entirely understandable and believable. I prefer the Club Sandwich at Krogman's Gab n' Eat in Heidelberg, myself. Close second is the Big Fish Sandwich at Rocky's Bar down the street from Krogman's.

Yes, there's also a Greek church! I saw the OCA and the Antiochian one, but I didn't get to go into them or attend any services. I also saw an Armenian church on the way to the OCA one, so I'll have to visit that one some time out of curiosity (no I will not take communion!)
I was surprised by the Orthodox presence in the town... apparently they have a lot of communication with each other.

Hi James,
You have to "up Load" the picture from your HDD. When you're in the Posting box, look at the bottom for a button "Manage Attachments". Click on that, and a box opens for you to browse your HDD to get the picture, then you click the upload button. Wait until the box says "Close Box" and submit the post, then it will display.
Hope that helps.

Hhaha, you'll get PLENTY of pics when my photographers get them up in 2-3 weeks. I'm guessing she took about 600-800 pictures and since it's all digital you get to see a LOT of them. My brother and cousin's husband also taped most of it. So I'm gonna have Kevin edit and then post some online. It might be a while tho... but I had a fantastic day.

Start tending bees. Catch locusts in season and preserve them in the honey for a tasty year-round treat.
However, IIRC, the Forerunner ate wild honey, although that may be a trick of the translation or of my memory.

:D It's kind of not possible right now. She is going to Rome with an Italian language program for a whole month, and then from Rome she is going to Greece to spend the rest August with her family, so I won't be seeing her until she comes back for school.

It's funny how pictures lose the perspective and what you see on a 3x5 picture isn't what you see through the lense. That reminds me of another picture I saw. When the pictures were developed everyone saw what looked like a basket of fruit on a guy's head.

A lot of people also take out their photos after a while as that might be the only way to have space to post new ones.

From GKC's essay "On Lying in Bed"
I examined the walls; I found them to my surprise to be already covered with wallpaper, and I found the wallpaper to be already covered with uninteresting images, all bearing a ridiculous resemblance to each other. I could not understand why one arbitrary symbol (a symbol apparently entirely devoid of any religious or philosophical significance) should thus be sprinkled all over my nice walls like a sort of smallpox. The Bible must be referring to wallpapers, I think, when it says, "Use not vain repetitions, as the Gentiles do."

Is putting the world to death something to be smiling about?
Only on an Orthodox forum would anybody understand that... ;)
