According to this poll: http://www.christianforums.com/showthread.php?t=1037

This should be one of the most lively forums on this site. Where are they all? ;)

Probably in the general forums. I have seen a few people pop in and out of here that have Baptist icons, and they are never seen again. Here anyway :) This isn't the x-files or anything.

Us Baptists are like bad pennys. We always keep turning up, especially when someone enters a fun or thought-provoking thread for discussion. We may not use the icon, but that doesn't mean all that much anyway. Besides, not using it keeps the others guessing about us -- until we make an entry, that is.

Maybe Baptists are more likely to post in fellowship threads that aren't in this section of CF. Just a thought. ;)

Deleted the QuoteI am begining to understand why you changed screen names CIS... I am praying for you brother... you have so much hatred in your heart... You need to spend time in prayer asking God to help you overcome that and asking Him to help you forgive whatever injustices (percieved or otherwise) occurred in your previous church.

Romans 12
Behave Like a Christian
9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. 10Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; 11not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; 12rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; 13distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.
14Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. 15Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. 16Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.
17Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. 18If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. 19Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay," says the Lord. 20Therefore

"If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
If he is thirsty, give him a drink;
For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head."

21Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
I Corinthians 13
4Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
8Love never fails.

Praise God!

Where is the party?

I'm a new baptist, just joined back in August. I'm interested in learning about baptists and how we believe.

Have a great day!

Fantastic! The party is right here. I too am interested in furthering my baptist education so this should be a good place for the both of us!

The baptists are so busy living out the work and will of the Lord that they have little time to be on the internet! :D
