Do any of you, like me, set around and just think of off the wall things that could all be classified as what if? I'm bored alot, so I decided to post some of the what ifs that have came to mind and see what you all think and if you have any what ifs of your own. Please understand I don't believe in my what ifs, just something weird to think about when you're bored.

First what if:
Deja Vu: Anyone wonder why we have deja vu and where it comes from? Ok, God is infinite, always has been, always will be. He is forever, the first and the last, Alpha Omega. I'm sure none will dispute that. God could have created infinite worlds with infinite endings or in other words, seen what's going to happen to this world thousands of times. What if this world is the last world and all the people on earth now are the people who went to hell in all the other previous worlds and this is our last chance to give our lives to Him? What if we have deja vu because we've all been here before and this is our last chance forever?

Second what if:
Ghosts: We understand that the Bible says to be asbent from the body is to be present with the Lord. So I would venture to say that all Christians who have died are now with the Lord. But what happens to the unsaved when they die? Are they immediately sent to hell or Hades as a holding place until judgement? The devil himself is not in hell and is free to roam about the earth as he pleases. What if all these sightings, voice phenomenons, and other ghostly related things are the souls of those who have died unsaved? The story that Jesus told of Lazarus and the rich man in hell probably refutes this, but Jesus could have been alluding to the future as well. So in essence what if the "ghosts" of the world are the dead lost waiting for the Great White Throne of judgment?

As you can see my mind roams from time to time, but in boredom these are just things that pop up lol. Anyone else have some what if's?

This is clearly not possible...

Hebrews 9: 26He then would have had to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now, once at the end of the ages, He has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. 27And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, 28so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.I'm not trying to sound harsh and not trying to be a "partypooper", but I think Scripture cautions us against unproductive speculations and mental ramblings:

I Timothy 1:4 Nor give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which cause disputes rather than godly edification which is in faith.
I Thessalonians 5: 6So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be alert and self-controlled. 7For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, get drunk at night. 8But since we belong to the day, let us be self-controlled, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet. 9For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. 10He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him. 11Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.

My only what if that I refuted early on in my Christian life was: Are all these Gods that people are worshipping actually our God, and He is just trying to reach us at any level He can? I know that is not true, because then God would be a liar to us that He says He is the only God. But it did give me pause to think anyway :)

First what if:
Deja Vu: deja vu freaks me out. When something happens I can swear i have seen it beofre and I try usually to figure out why, but to no avail.

Second what if:
Ghosts: I used to see things when I was a kid. It was my overactive imagination, and my fear of the dark that caused most of them. I do not believe in Ghosts, well except for the Holy Ghost :)

Just my two cents.... My husband was just reading something on deja vu and it is said that when we have that experience it's really that our brain takes a wee bit longer to "realize" what is going on around us and it seems as though we've already done that or been there etc.... like a delayed reaction of the brain.... hmmmmmm
