In case there's some confusion about my question, I was wondering whether being a Baptist (not baptized) in some way defines who you are (your personal [individual] identity).

LOL, hun sorry. Meant to ask Bud which of those two words, or both, he had a problem with. I'm just "guessing" its one of those two.

That's exactly what I would say to such a question. I'm the pastor of a baptist church, but if God led me from here to another church that was not baptist I would go. Who am I to question God's will for my life?

Not so much being Baptist, but for me SB doctrine defines how I put my faith into action. For example; we believe we are all priest, all have a calling to use our testimony to bring others to Christ. So in a manner, it defines who I am.
