Finally!!!
After 21 hours straight on my home terminal coordinating the setup of the software, hardware, and network, we are finally on our new servers and network!!! :D
It's 5:30 am and I've had 1 hour sleep in the past 48 hours - I didn't sleep the previous night as I was negotiating the price of the current setup with a couple of host and providers.
We are now running 16 x Pentium IVs, 4 of which are pushing the database. We also have 2 x 100Mbps networks running at once, to speed things up.
Members should really see NO lag and NO slow down on this current setup.
I thank you all for your patience - it's a matter of waiting for the DNS cache to update basically for other members to drift in, as our IP addresses have changed so members will drift in as their local ISP DNS caches updates, which can take from 1 hour to 48 hours (we do have our own dynamic DNS server but some ISPs cache the IPs).
Enjoy the new servers and network! :)
