Has anyone planned the food for 24 people for 3 days before?
How much did you budget?
What did you eat?
We have a kitchen in a huge lodge in which we are staying.

What could be more fun that helping take the youth on a Ski Trip?

Do you have access to a CostCo or Sams? Last time we did a retreat, we made a huge shopping trip there - we bought a bunch of their huge, yummy muffins and danishes for breakfast. Lunch, I think we had lots of sandwich fixings - couple kinds of bread, peanut butter/jelly, cheese, mayo/mustard, letture, tomato, turkey, ham. Then, for dinner, we had several frozen lasagne type dishes.

When's your trip? Did you get your menus and shopping list compiled yet?

The trip is in January.
I bet I can make some lasagna in huge trays from the church kitchen and freeze it. Then it can travel on the bus ride frozen. Then one morning, I could put a tray in the oven and slowly warm it up. The goal is to save as much money as possible by bringing the food rather than having to go out once we arrive. So, I think we want to figure out meals we can cook, and take with us to be warmed up later.

Will you have access to full kitchen facilities, then? Because that makes it much easier!
