I came across an issue for the latter days and the lost 10 tribes. Since this issue is quite new to me, I would like to ask what your thoughts are about the lost 10 tribes uniting with Judah in the last days.
I´ve heard of couple that it is:
1. The gentile christian church uniting with the synagogue.
2. The born-again Jewish and Gentile believers uniting with messianic Judaism.
3. The 10 tribes finding their Jewish roots in Gentile lands and becoming believers and uniting with messianic Judaism. (This I have seen of some Finns who have discovered that in their roots there is Jewish blood and becoming Torah observant and believers in Yeshua)
These are the 3 comments I have heard. What have you read or heard about this issue?
Shalom,
David. :)

Historically, it has been widely assumed that the northern tribes were not actually lost but were absorbed into Judah and also that the vast majority of the none aristocratic population was not deported into exile and thus not "lost".

What I have read is that when the northern tribes called Israel lost the war, these tribes were then dispersed into other gentile lands by the victors and transplanted by gentiles. The influence of one or more of these 10 tribes did affect (or is it effect) Europe and the Scandianvian countries and even to the East. I have a friend from Burma and he has even some Jewish Burmese friends. Some of these tribes went to India and Afganistan. This is an interesting topic and if anyone else has imput, I'd like to hear.
Shalom, David.

This thread is being moved from the Messianic Judaism Forum as the OP is not specifically a Messianic issue and as the OP is not Messianic it appears that response from both Messianics and non-Messianics is sought.
Perhaps it will get more discussion in another forum :)

Historically, it has been widely assumed that the northern tribes were not actually lost but were absorbed into Judah and also that the vast majority of the none aristocratic population was not deported into exile and thus not "lost".My view is, I believe it was the remnant of Judah that was absorbed into Israel after the destruction of the OC temple and jewish rulers/Judah/Levi in the first century.
In Jeremiah, God's burning anger for Judah would burn forever. I feel the Sin of Judah might have referred to the future crucifixion of our Lord Jesus Christ, King and Savior, otherwise, why would He say FOREVER:confused: . The New convenant is shown only with Israel, not Judah.Any thoughts. It appears judaism is outlawed.God bless.
Hebew 8: 7 For if that first [covenant] had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second. 8 Because finding fault with them, He says: "Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah -- 9 "not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they did not continue in My covenant, and I disregarded them, says the LORD. 10 "For this the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.
Jeremiah 17:1 "The sin of Judah [is] written with a pen of iron; With the point of a diamond [it is] engraved On the tablet of their heart, And on the horns of your altars, [i]2 While their children remember Their altars and their wooden images By the green trees on the high hills. 3O My mountain in the field, I will give as plunder your wealth, all your treasures, [And] your high places of sin within all your borders.4 And you, even yourself, Shall let go of your heritage which I gave you; And I will cause you to serve your enemies In the land which you do not know; For you have kindled a fire in My anger [which] shall burn forever."
