This option on your profile..could someone explain what these options mean? I only know the basic Atheistic Evolution.

Well, here they are in a nutshell:

Atheistic Evolution: Evolution as science teachers taught you in school.

Theistic Evolution: The species arose because of evolution, but God was behind it and directing it all.

Young Earth Creation: If I'm right, I think this means that you believe the earth was made just like it says in Genesis, and that the 7 days was literally seven days. According to this, the earth is only about 6,000 years old.

Old Earth Creation: This means you believe that the earth was made like it says in Genesis, but the 7 days was figurative. They believe that it acctually took 1000's of years for the earth to be created, and the earth is much older than 6,000 years.

Gap Theory: You're guess Is as good as mine. I have no idea what the "gap theory" is.

Well done, Jedi_Christian!

Gap theory says there's a loooong gap between Gen 1:1 and Gen 1:2, so the 6 days were 6000 years ago, but the earth itself is older. Some versions of gap theory say there was a previous creation, which was destroyed, and the 6 days were a "second creation."

I think it's a very strange idea, but some people (http://www.kjvbible.org/) believe it.
