"Welcome" box question

On the main forum page, in the Welcome box towards the top of the page, it says welcome back. It tells me what the date is and under that it says when I was last here. I come to this board at least 2 or 3 times a day but the "last visited" date and time never changes. It says that I was last here on April 10th. I tried logging out and signing back in, but that did not change anything.

This is not really an earth shattering problem, but I am a little bit curious. Thanks.

Aha - I worked it out. I modified the forum software so that it no longer relies on cookies to see if you have read a thread - in the past, after a minute, the forum software thinks you have read all threads. Most other forums which uses this software are like this. Our site has been customised extensively so that you actually have to mark individual forums or all forums read by clicking on the link or button. Because of this, the last visit date is actually now the last time you marked all forums read. I have corrected the Welcome Box to reflect this. :) You now know when you last marked all forums read, and the number of posts and threads since you have done so.
