Jeremiah 4:22 For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge. 23 I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.24 I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.
When is the earth void, without form, and no light in heaven?

Is Jeremiah seeing the past, at the beginning of creation?

Or is this a time after the heavens is rolled back like a scroll?

Jeremiah 44:22 So that the LORD could no longer bear, because of the evil of your doings, and because of the abominations which ye have committed; therefore is your land a desolation, and an astonishment, and a curse, without an inhabitant, as at this day.

Isaiah 24:6 Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.

The jerimiah44 scripture has already past , he was talking to the people at the present time.

23 I beheld the earth, Eretz can also be translated as the land as in Israel

and, lo, it was without form, Again 'tohu' as in Genesis 1 but since this scripture seems to me to be speaking of Israel it could also mean empty of idols

and void; 'bohu', wasteland?

and the heavens, and they had no light. 'Or', light, can mean so many things but maybe here they are void of the light of the world, Yeshua?

24 I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.

I think Jeremiah was written to explian what will happens before G-d comes back how every thing is going to happen. I do not think It already happened because this was given to him by god in a dream, I believe it to be A "warning" to all for false teaching and abanding the word of G-d for the word of Man.

Just my Thoughts after reading the book of Jeremiah:prayer:

OK... would you see it fitting with the asking of "how long?" found in Revelation by the saints...regarding the avenging of the blood?

Isaiah 6:11 Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate,
