Morning, everyone.
I would have posted this in your fellowship thread, but I can't seem to find it, so, here goes...
I've crossposted this question in both TAW and OBOB, but as some of the few Christians who still venerate the Saints and the Theotokos, I was wondering: How many of you would be interested in a new feature similar to birthdays: Saints' Days?
Here's how some of us in TAW think it would work: on the Edit User Info page (or whatever it's called), there could be a field (perhaps tied to certain denominational icons so that people who don't venerate the Saints don't have a fit) where you could put in your patron's name and day, and then, when that day rolls around, there could be an announcement in all of your posts for that day.
This idea came up in TAW when about four of our members had namedays within a week of each other, and some of us say the multitude of posts that were basically variants on "Many years, ________!/Happy nameday, ________!"
I figure that if we could get enough popular support for this, Erwin might listen to us. Thanks in advance!
