Hi folks!

I just noticed that Erwin changed the clocks here in cyberspace so that we are running one hour ahead. It puzzled me until I realized that he is one day ahead of us being in Australia.

Happy Sunday to everyone in Australia and Greece. My how time flies.

Don't forget to set your clocks ahead tonight so that you won't be late to Church or miss it completely. ;)

We lose one hour so get to bed early.

Yours in Christ our God,
Elizabeth

EDIT: Americans observe it next Sunday, April 4, 2004 (except Arizona, etc).

Dear Dianne:

I had forgotten too until I noticed that the time Erwin has posted on this Forum didn't jive with my computer time. It was one hour ahead. So at first I thought that there must have been a power outage.

Your sister in Christ,
Elizabeth

EDIT: I edited outage -- had created a new word: outwattage :D

I must admit -- I greatly prefer falling back to springing forward.

Push for Beattie Govt to look at daylight savings debate

The Gold Coast business community has again vowed to turn up the heat on the Queensland State Government over daylight saving.

The southern Gold Coast Chamber of Commerce says local businesses will rejoice this weekend when New South Wales residents wind their clocks back by one hour

President Marie Robbie says it is time for the State Government to revisit the issue.

"Premier Beattie really needs to look at it again, take it seriously," she said.

"This has to happen for the economic and social protection of the people on the southern Gold Coast, and Tweed in particular."

The plot thickens, folks!

It seems that the EU starts Daylight Saving Time this Sunday.

But America starts it next Sunday, April 4, 2004 (with the exception of a few states like Arizona).

When willl we get together in time?

Here's the scoop thanks to our brethren over in OBOB.

Dear Philip,

Andreas tried to edit the title of this thread so as not to mislead people here in TAW, but the edit only changed the internal title, not the one that is displayed in the TAW table of contents. Can you fix it? Or is it unfixable?

Thanks,

Your sister in Christ,
Elizabeth
