I would like opinions on the Holman Christian Standard Bible. I did a search for past posts on these forums, but would appreciate feedback from Christians on this new version, now that it has received more exposure and the entire Bible has been published.

i got the NT a while ago, and i really didnt like it. i hear it's really accurate, but according to whom? we all interpret scripture a little differently, based on the whole word of God as we understand it. (i'm not talking about obvious errors in doctrine here.) i found the flow of the words not right for me, and it seemed "light" in the sense of being fairly basic. but that was a few months ago, i'll see if i cant find it and have another look at it.
