 Hello to everyone!

Would anyone have a suggestion for how to go about reading the bible in a daily plan? I want to read both Old and New Testament together and learn the bible but don't know which plan is best to use; I've seen historical, chronological, blended and all kinds but am not sure which one is good for a new Christian who wants to read through the Bible in a year spending 15 - 30 minutes to an hour a day studying. Thanks for any suggestions!

God bless,

Go as per the leading of the Holy Spirit in you. Do not stick to a specific plan to finish the Bible in one-year or so. It could take lesser than a year or more than a year depending on how the Spirit of God leads you towards Bible-study. Holy Spirit is the Author of the Bible and He alone can help you in understanding it as perfectly as possible. Fellow-christians can be of guidance and help in this regard.

Pls check out this page for some good guidance -

There are One Year Bibles ( or Read The Bible In A Year) on the market. Try your local christian book shop. I have one and find it very good for what you want.

Hello Tavita:wave: Thanks for your reply to my question; I have ordered a One Year Bible which I think is a great idea. I have started in the mean time with a chronological bible reading plan which I found online to get me started.

God bless,

Do you happen to have the link for the chronological reading plan? I have a friend at my bible study who was looking for one.

Our daily bread has a reading plan for the bible in one year too. But a one year bible sounds like a great idea.

I suggest John, then the first three books of the NT. From there you could start at the beginning and when you hit parts that are boring/repetitious go to the rest of the NT. go back to the OT and read over the NT again every time you hit a slow spot in the OT.
