REMOVED: Homepage Live News

Hi members

I've just set up a new feature - homepage live news, just under the "Weather Forecast" box in the right column.

Click on the link to choose a newsfeed, which brings you straight to the User CP, Options - scroll down, and choose a live newsfeed - at the moment you can get instant news from Yahoo, BBC, CNet and Wired. I may add more later.

This is just a TRIAL - I want to see if this would slow down the site much.

I've had to remove this because it killed our server. :) It was too server intensive when lots of members started using it.

We can get our news elsewhere. We come here to escape what's going on in the world,right? The news is too depressing anyway.:cry:
