View Full Version : Yassin Killed: A Big Day For Israel

What is your opinion of the killing of Sheik Yassid today, the founder of Hamas? The world condemns it besides America, but is the world justified for condemning the killing of such an evil man when they would have thought it justified to kill Hitler, Stalin, or Mussolini? Please pray for Israel during this tense day. The Palestinians are more furious than ever, but Israel strands on the promises of God against their enemies.

My greatest concern is for the days ahead. It really sounded like the Palestinians were going to use this as a rallying point.

Perhaps though the final battle is forming. If this is the case I say buldoze the Dome of the Rock... Rebuild Ha'Shems Holy temple there.... And let what has been ordained from the begining of time happen in my lifetime.

Sorry to get all end times on ya but I think it happens sooner rather than later. I pray the ultimate peace for G-d's holy city!

I applaud them for ridding an evil man and sending him to his death.

Now we will see the true colors of Hamas because now they have threatened the USA as well as Israel.

I am praying...

It is about time this murderous bloodthirsty thug was pinged off. All he did was preach hate and anger, and created a terrorist group that had no intention of existence other than to kill as many Jews as possible and see the total annihilation of Eretz Yisrael.

Regardless, things are going to get very rough....I would invite everyone in our group to pray for Israel and the Jewish people, for their safety from this menace and in this troubling time.

Shalom and G-d bless

A agree with Hix and since he has a picture of the western wall right there then spirtually anyway I place this prayer in the cracks of the wall:

Beloved Father G-d
Adonai please hear from your throne in heaven. Bring peace to Jerusalem. Let the children again play in the streets, let the old men sip coffee at tables and study the Torah and raise your Holy name. Please oh Lord no more wailing of mothers for lost sons. Exchange the oil of mourning for the oil of gladness.

El'kodosh raise your mighty right arm even now and vaquish the foes of Y'sreal even utterly destroying them with your mighty right arm Adonai Tsvot! For you are our hope and the salvation of the sons of Abraham. Blessed be your name forever!

I am concerned for the days ahead too.

Where are the ghandis and the M.L.Kings? I am asking that because I realised that Yassin is the opposite of these people, even though he ended up paying for it with his life like they did.

It's a dificult situation because those terrorist leaders have brainwashed the people with their hate for Israel, so if they are alive they will do whatever they can to destroy Israelis, if they are killed the people will seek revange on their own. So it's a situation that only G-d can solve, and I believe it's going to happen soon, the stage is set for the end times, it's only a matter of time now...

Israel needs prayer.

Shalom,
Andre.

I was telling my wife the other day that if I were a terrorist, I'd just watch American TV and see how America reacts.
That would tell me that the best way to make America back down is to say that we are bombing everyone because America (or, specifically George W. Bush) sides with Israel.
American television would show me that Americans hate to be unpopular AND (most importantly) anything negative we might say about President Bush would be received with delight, regardless of whether it was true or not.
I'm surprised that shoplifters today aren't saying that they were pushed into a life of crime by the fact that America supports Israel. It seems that they'd get all charges against them dismissed.

The world is offended by the killing of a major terrorist leader. This says one thing that the world does not believe Isreal has a right to exist. To wit the only response is soooooo what.

The second focus of all this is that Kerry has (as I understand it) promisesd to apologize to Iraq for the war there and withdawl from the "War on Terror". Much as the spanish have already done at the poles last week. Because Kerry makes this campaign promise at a time when Spain buckling under terrist pressure, and dividing the coalition, it sets the U.S. in a position of great vulnerability for a devasating terrorist attack, in order to forward the Kerry option. This would also effectively tie the hands of the U.S. from being a shield for Israel. It is no oversight by God that the U.S. in not forseen in end times prophecy. We are there, but we are incosequential by that time. The U.S. looks to be out of the picture very soon. Right now, we are as vulnerable as Israel, perhaps more so.

It is hard to believe that the U.S. citizens are so quickly lulled back to sleep so soon after the events of 9-11.

We always pray for the peace of Jerusalem and potection of Israel as a family every day. Have done so for years. We will be as watchmen on the walls.

You are in a forum full of people that have been to Israel, live there and have studied it for years. You are also in a forum full of Jewish people that understand what it's like to be hated, misrepresented and discriminated against. The terrorists want us dead and they want you dead. Did you not see them chanting on the news today for the destruction of Israel and the UNITED STATES???
These terrorists are not few... they are everywhere and they are infiltrating. They don't just want Jews dead... they want YOU dead too. When people finalyy realize this, they will stop defending the enemies of G-d.
The Israelis are innocent, the Palestinian/Arab terrorists are fully guilty.
I am tired of people defending murderers that strap on dynamite and blow up babies and men and women in cafes.

Sorry, I can't take this anymore. People blindly defend the enemies of G-d.

Actually the place I used to work is now a big
hole in the ground filled with corpses
It was on the southern tip of Manhatten

It was a nice building well actually several nice
buildings and lots of people worked there
and one day lots of people died there.

They died there because some filthy vermon
er umm misguided men flew fuel laden airplanes into them.
I took this picture from New Jersey 3 days later.
The air was filled with smoke and the smell
of burnt flesh was everywhere.

I was supposed to be in that building that morning
But G-d said no I want you to do something else for me
so you stay home.

I should have died that day
My hands shake every day
I have something the Dr's call PTSD
It makes me cry at night a lot.

So if one of the buddies of those men who hurt so many people

I read her posts and I do not see where she said anything wrong. The INNOCENT should be prayed for. I think hate and anger are blinding some. Take a deep breathe and then consider ANY baby of any nationality dying, tell me they do not need our prayers.

Everyone there that is INNOCENT and suffering should be prayed for that they may find mercy.

I understand that prayer is for all. But we are to defend the righteous. As a missionary that has been on missions to Israel, Russia, Afrcia and soon China, I have held many babies in my arms as they died. The topic at hand is the defense of Israel and not defending terrorists.
And one last thing:
I'm sorry did you call it PALESTINE???????????????????????????
That would be incorrect. It's rightful name is Israel and it belings to the Jews. It is not called Palestine.

Jesus prayed for everyone, he died for everyone, including those who wanted Him dead, and did so knowing they would betray Him. Praying for someone doesn't mean you condone there actions, it means you pray for Him to guide them.
Side note, education rarely comes through insults, maybe try educating instead of insulting, if you'd like to get your point across? You are more likely to teach someone that way.
Those militants where once children who grew up, the only way they knew how, the cycle can be broken, history has proved this time and time again, only good can come from praying for those militants.

You know I see a couple of key things being over looked here. First, we all profess to believe in Jesus and His teachings correct? If that is true then what Big Toe said was in accordance to that. The day we forget what HE said and allow our emotions to take over is the day we may as well just throw in the towel. Guys he said "Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you"

i respect what you do, and i appreciate it more than you know. i hope you realize that Erin. we've obviously gotten off on a completely wrong foot. i guess my thing is that we are called to pray for everyone, not just those we support. because if we aren't praying for the bad guys, who is to say they will ever change? sure the ones there now might not, but their children might and then be able to stop the grossness thats going on. honestly all i meant is that we should pray for everyone.

I want to explain myself a little better because I feel it is neccesary. I know that it is impossible to act as Jesus did. We are human and we are sinners. I do not always love my enemies or pray for those who persecute me. If I did that, I would be perfect, wouldn't I? I am far from perfect and I understand your pain. The thing is, we should STRIVE to live like Him. Will we fall short? You can bet on it. I saw an attempt here to preach Jesus's word and I saw one being shot down for it and I felt I had to respond. I hope I haven't offened anyone with my posts. I just felt the need to point out that Big Toe was posting in accordance to what He taught and I think you should take it easy on her. :sorry:

This is the thing, we need to pray for Israel protection, most of the land now ocupied by Arabs rightfully belongs to Israel, it's their promissed land that was given to them by G-d.
Now, most of the Arabs are Muslims and they are brainwashed to hate Israel, and they all do, not only Muslims, but most of the world hates Israel.
Right now the Arab world hates Israel and Israel has the right to defend itself, we need to pray that G-d would deliver Israel from their enemies, by killing them if necessary, on the other hand we also need to pray that G-d would reveal Himself to Muslims so they may repent from the wrong they are doing and give their lives to G-d otherwise they will be destroyed, either by Israel or by G-d Himself.
G-d will protect His people, it's His promisse to the nation of Israel. He will bless those who bless Israel and He will curse those who curse it. Therefore the Muslim world better repent from their ways or they will be destroyed.

I believe the only reason why the U.S. is "safe" and it's still a great place to live is because we support Israel, otherwise I believe judgement would have come to this nation a long time ago due to people turning away from G-d and turning to sinfull lifestyles that are an abomination before G-d.

Shalom,

We should pray for the poor "palistinian" people, only becuase they are being used as pawns by the PA and Egypt to wage war against the Zionists. Every day they are systimatically indoctrinated with hatred and rage against the Jewish people. And even more so than that their very leaders are involved in embezzling all the funds that were supposed to be given as aid to help the people in poverty. Israel only lately had to cut off its anual 1 billion dollars of aid to the "palistinians" becuase not a penny even saw the people, it was being used to fund terror. And the PA dont want to see the "palistinians" living in anything other than poverty anyway, becuase so long as they live in poverty then it can be blamed on Israel.

So we should pray for these people too, they are nothing but pawns being used to murder the Jewish people. But make no mistake about it, there can be no similarities between targetting armed murderers and targetting innocent civilians. The 29 people Yassin ordered the death of 2 years almost to the day at Pessach remain in memory.

HIx,

I was in the middle of a Passover Seder in Israel when it happened. I think that terrorist attack shocked more people than any prior or after so far. The only other shocks for Israel recently like this is Yassin's assasination and the video of the funeral in Jenin when the guy fell out of the casket, jumped up, and got back in. Here we are two years later and Yassin is dead, the one who ordered that shocking attack. Oh yeah, I forgot about the Purim attack one year in which was in a mall...little children's legs and feet were scattered all over the mall with their cute costumes smeared in blood ordered by Yassin. Yassin deserved his death! A death of natural causes would be a dissapointment to Israel, justice was served. I am 100 percent for targeted killings. Terrorists don't deserve trials, they are lower than that... think of children in a Purim costume smeared in blood and ask me if the murderer deserves a trial. By the way, contrary to news legends, Israel is the most humane army in the world. They could have killed Yassin years ago, but wanted to save even one innocent life and did not do so. Just look, Israel released some thousand Lebaneese terrorists for Syria to return one Israeli buisnessman who broke the law. If France, Britain, or any other country were in this situation I can guarantee you they would be worse. They have no right to condemn. There are innocent Palestinians who need Yeshua, they are bound by the madness Arafat and the rest of the Arab world has hyponotized them into.

Ahh Were that it was true Andre!

1 I do not feel "safe" in the US any longer we are a big target each of us and these terrorists hate us with a passion. There is not one who would not jump at the chance to kill an American, better if they were Christian and even better if they were Jewish!

2 President Bush has denounced the military removal of a high value target by Israel. Bad move on his part really bad move. He says it will increase the animosity in the region. You know what at some point the Palestinians could not hate the Israellis any more than they do now.

Bless the IDF keep them safe oh Lord
Bless the Mousad make them invisable to their enimies
Bless Ariel Sharon give him great wisdom!

What would have happened if durring the inquisitions in Spain the church had stood up and said "No this is wrong stop it!"

What would have happened in Germany if the Lutherens and Reformed church had said "NO we will not carry out these murderous orders"

What would have happened if the Orthodox Church would have said in Russia "No these are peaceable people leave them alone"

Today I choose as an American and as a Messianic Gentile beleiver to say

Will someone please point out to me where I ever said NOT to pray for anyone?

I never said not to pray - go back and read my posts, please. Oh the drama! :D

Take a look at my name, for example: Pray4Isrel
Hmmmmm... seems pretty obvious to me. Prayer is not the issue at hand. Prayer is a given and I doubt anyone here doesn't pray. I have and always will try my hardest to pray for those who are my enemies and those who persecute.

My replies were simply defending Israel and the Jewish people. Others decided to distort my words and pretty soon I have three people that rarely, if ever step into the MJ forum telling me that I am not following "Jesus' example" by praying for my enemies! Where did that come from?

That they would lay down thier arms

Who was it that used to have the line in their sig

"If the Palestinians laid down thier weapons today there would be peace in Isreal
If the Isreallis laid down thier weapons today there would be no Isreal"

I have prayed for Israel and for the peace of Jerusalem for years. We do so daily as a family. I used to do the same or the U.S. and one day Aonai (I blieve) stopped me in my spirit, and said, "Do not pray for the U.S. for judgement has already been decreed. It's leaders are corrupt, and the people corrupt. The Church has become blind." I wept and pleaded before the Lord for a long time that day but felt only assurance that God had a remnant that would serve him, and that the Judgement was so that he could extend his mercy. Through affliction comes repentence. The U.S. had turned rom worshipping God and trusting in Him to trusting in its military and monitary might to preserve it. I felt that I was to pray or the Church, for my bothers protection in this country, and to work to bring the truth of Gods word to the church that had long ago departed from Gods Torah. This was in 1998. After much praying I felt Adonai say to me. Watch what is happening. A few weeks later, the Monica Lewinski ase exploded, and I saw the files being loaded in the back of a suburban. I saw the president look all america in the face and lie and say,"I had nothing to do with that woman." And the saddest part of all, the American people said in a loud resounding voice, "It is none of our business what he did. We don't care. What matters is the money, the market, our prosperity! Leave him alone so that we can continue to grow rich!" And the people defended him. Because they hae lost siht of what is right and what is wrong. The leaders are corrupt. The people are also Corrupt.

9-11 was a wake up call to repent. But the people said together, "God Bless America" They should have said, "America, Bless God!" There was not repentence, only a ralling call to patriotism and national pride and the exalting of our national god, Mammon, and power the god of fortresses."

Judgement is decreed. It is comming. I pray for you my brothers and sisters. I pray that the church is losed from the alse religion of mens traditions and returns to the words of the living eternal elohim.

Christy

Have we really supported them? Really?

Or have we said time and again "Stay out of it don't get involved"
Have we forced a peace that can never work down their throats like
in Camp David etc?

Personally I think that the US has kissed the hind quarter of the UN and world opinion far more than it has supported Isreal.

The USA is considered Israel's only true supporter, and even that is a joke. How much money have we allotted the Palestinians over the years? How often have we told Israel not to retaliate against it's evil terrorist enemies? Just like you're saying, PG, how supportive are we really?
The sad answer: Not much... and it's starting to get even worse with people here in the USA that defend the Palestinian and Arab terrorists.

BTW, outstanding post, Charlesinflorida... simply outstanding.

I am sorry to say it, but the U.S. often supports Israel as an absentee parent supports their child: throw money at them and then yell at them for what they do with it.
The U.S. starts a War on Terror after an attack on our soil, but we tie Israel's hands when they hunt down and kill those who murder their children and grandparents.
America seems to be ambivalent about Israel. We know that it is good, but we get in trouble for saying that it's good. It's unpopular to believe that the Israelis and the PLO are not morally equivalent.
Instead, we are too often willing to bow to world opinion. Especially the opinion of the U.N. which is ruled by tyrants and anti-Israelists.
The world liked Jews alot better when they didn't have the power to defend themselves; but they didn't like us much back then either.

Shalom all,
I think the U.S. more than any other nation has supported Israel.Certainly we have tried to have our cake and eat it too at times. But largely we have been supportive of Isarel. It's not easy to try to not be biased towards our Jewish brethren, but IMHO, if Israel were attacked we would back up the nation of Israel, if neccessary. The need for oil does cause problems that I would guess causes us to let politics interfere.

What nation is a greater friend to Israel?
Just my humble opinions.

But what are we doing about God saying "Vengeance will be mine" ? I am so confused..

If we live by the sword we will die by the sword, so many other things that were said that we just seem to be completely ignoring.

Do you believe that one day all of us will be together in paradise? Is that enough for us? Do we need to seek vengeance on this earth?

You know as an interesting aside

Before 9-11-01 I never saw not one bit of "Islamic Awareness" PC non sense

I notice now that instead of marking the traditional Jewish holidays on my desk calender I see the traditional Islamic holidays marked instead.

Hey I cant tell when Purim is but boy I know when the first of Muhrarram was!

And this is the subtle infiltration of acceptance.

I suppose what will be next are funny jokes about the size of the Jewish nose and how they love money or something.

Shalom pray4isrel, I think Christy means that given political sides to take, she would rather take a religious side. Pray4isrel, I meant that as someone noted, patriotism instead of religious pondering has not had the effect that it should have on people post 9/11. If people would have, as someone put it, "America, Bless G-d", perhaps we would have learned something after the destruction of 9/11. Patriotism has poor effects, but religious renewal can have long lasting effects. In the same manner, perhaps if we complain of U.S. assisting financially, the Palestinians for aid to the suffering, aren't we appearing nationalistic?

Giving money to the "Palestinian Authority" is giving money directly into Arafat's bank account and into the coffers of the terrorists. It *DOES NOT get to the Palestinian people - this has been proved over and over. Arafat has *known* foreign bankaccounts that total several billion. He does not work and there is no way his *official* salary could accrue this amount. The paper trails all lead from incomming monies to his pockets and into homocide bombs and awards to homocide bomers families . This is why Israel stopped it's protection payments. The remarkable thing is that the US knows, or at least partially knows of the PA's embezzlement of the aid money which was supposed to help the "palistinian" citizens. I remember reading a number of months back that an American inquirey found that over 3 billion US dollars donated by America never even saw the people, and instead went towards terrorism and for Arafats wife and daughter to live comfortably in France.

Really, the "palistinians" are victims in their own way, the PA itself is basically Egypts proxy in the region and they use the every day people to fight this war aainst Israel. They teach them hate and violence, they teach them to kill. They make them live in poverty so Israel is blamed and the hatred for it rises more and the anti-semitic propaganda spread by them is rivaled only by that seen during the holocaust by the nazis.

I, too know what terrorism is like, as my country has endured it for decades, even though I would not try to compare it with the suffering of my Jewish brothers. The question you ask is difficult, as all answers to it are. I remember, when 9/11 happened (I have been in the US for about 10 years now). My first reaction, out of spite and anger, was to destroy the entire middle east (except Israel of course). I felt almost the same way after 3/11. These are my emotions, and it is hard to ignore my sinful reaction.

The mentality of the Palestinian murderers is the same as the Morrocan attitudes in Spain. They wish nothing more than to destroy and make their cause justified in the eyes of others. It saddens me when anyone justifies murder, even when it appears appropriate.

I agree we should and everyone who knows me knows that I am like the most non violent - don't get angry person you will ever meet in your life.

But let me tell you what is really really going to happen.

In the book of revelation (Apocolypse for our Roman Catholic brothers and sisters)
it says this:

Rev 19:11 And I saw Heaven being opened. And, behold! A white horse, and He sitting on it having been called Faithful and True. And He judges and wars in righteousness.
Rev 19:12 And His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head many diadems, having a name that had been written, which no one knows except Himself;
Rev 19:13 and having been clothed in a garment which had been dipped in blood. And His name is called The Word of God.
Rev 19:14 And the armies in Heaven followed Him on white horses, being dressed in fine linen, white and pure.
Rev 19:15 And out of His mouth goes forth a sharp sword, that with it He might smite the nations. And He will shepherd them with an iron rod. And He treads the winepress of the wine of the anger and of the wrath of God Almighty.
Rev 19:16 And He has on His garment and on His thigh a name having been written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
Rev 19:17 And I saw one angel standing in the sun. And he cried with a great voice, saying to all the birds flying in mid-heaven, Come and gather together to the supper of the great God,
Rev 19:18 that you may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of chiliarchs, and the flesh of strong ones, and the flesh of horses, and of the ones sitting on them, and the flesh of all, both freemen and slaves, even of the small and great.
Rev 19:19 And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth, and their armies being assembled to make war with the One sitting on the horse, and with His army.
Rev 19:20 And the beast was seized, and with this one the false prophet doing signs before it, by which he led astray those having received the mark of the beast, and those worshiping its image. The two were thrown alive into the Lake of Fire burning with brimstone.
Rev 19:21 And the rest were killed with the sword of the One sitting on the horse, the sword having gone forth from His mouth. And all the birds were filled from their flesh.

Not to get into a long exegesis on this but here is the long and short of it

This battle will take place
It will happen in Isreal
It will happen in the valley of Meggido
The forces of G-d will be lead by Y'shua
The forces of the Antichrist will be lead by Ha'Satan
Y'shua will win this battle.

There is every reason to beleive that those who are attacking Isreal right now are those who will be lead by the antichrist and actually are at this point being lead by the spirit of the antichrist.

Muhamoud more than any other person in history fits the bill and description of the antichrist. And the abomination called the Dome of the Rock like no other fits the description of the Abomination that causes desolation.

Now I know I am making bold in fact VERY bold statements here.

I too Stand with Y'shua! I stand with him on the planes of Meggido also
I stand for him and with him in Y'sreal!
In Jerusalem - His home - my home!

Man you got me preachin up in here!

Right Pastor George that is exactly what I mean! God will lead us through. We need to be silent enough to hear His will. He has already won! It is written. But for now what do we do? I suggest we stand on His promise and allow Him to do the work promised. We over here can only pray, none of us that I know of are soldiers. It is OUR job to pray. It is our job to do whatever God calls us to do. For me it is to bring a message of love, for you or someone else it may be different. God calls each of us according to His purpose, let us listen to Him.

Right Pastor George that is exactly what I mean! God will lead us through. We need to be silent enough to hear His will. He has already won! It is written. But for now what do we do?
This war has already started Christy - The battle lines are being drawn even today. See what is happening. Pray to be certain pray. Pray that as many Hamas and Islamic Jihad and Al Queda are brought to Christ as is possible. That will save their lives in eternity.

Understand too that the Jew is historys most persecuted race.
I rememeber in school learning about WWII and wondering why they didn't fight back. I think we all did.

Now Isreal is fighting back and we wonder why they are doing that.

Blessings

Don't forget the youth group will be holding a bake sale today after service to raise money for the trip.

I never thought for a moment that you were a bad person, Christy.
It's just that our hearts hurt so much for our people in Israel.
Many of us have been there or live there and it is so different than what is shown on the news.
Sometimes I grow weary of constantly defending G-d's Chosen against those who are supposed to be on our side. Last night, it upset me that people who never so much as linger in our forum decided to come in and "set me straight" when they don't have nearly as much experience with Israel as we do in this forum. It's like me going into another denominational forum and setting them straight on issues and then getting mad when they respond.
Sometimes it would just be nice to have someone say "I support you".

I'll never forget going to lunch one day in Israel... I flew home the next day after having been there over a month. I woke up with jet lag here in the USA and turned on the news. The very street I was on the day before had a suicide bombing. I went into the bathroom and vomited.

The harsh reality of violence does not fully register until we have it effect us personally.

Understand too that the Jew is historys most persecuted race.
I rememeber in school learning about WWII and wondering why they didn't fight back. I think we all did.I used to wonder, too. But, as Kelly mentioned, there were Jewish resistance fighters. In them, Jewish women fought as bravely as Jewish men. An excellent fictionalized account of this is in the book Mila 18 by Leon Uris.

A problem for the resistance fighters is the fact that they would be betrayed by Polish resistance fighters, because of Polish anit-semitism.

Another problem was the internalized "Don't start trouble" philosophy of Jews of the time.

I also think of the "Boiled frog" analogy: How if you throw a frog into a pot of boiling water, it will jump out. But if you put the frog into cool water, and gradually, bit by bit turn up the heat, the frog woill be boiled without realizing it was in danger.
Jews in Germany had been doing pretty well. They were VERY assimilated (after all, Reform Judaism started in Germany) and many considered themselves Germans first and Jews second. When bad started to happen, they couldn't belive that it would get even worse, I mean this was civilized Europe after all! German Jews thought: it can't happen here! They had been disarmed long before they rounded up and put into the ghettoes.
This is one thing that makes today so difficult for Jews also - we watch every act of antisemitism, every synagogue burned, etc. watching for trends, watching for a crucial sign that might warn us so that we can do better than our grandparents did at reading the signs of the times.

Remember also, that many did flee. But other nations weren't accepting Jews. Including America. Whole boatloads of fleeing Jews were returned to Nazi Germany where the Jews were put right in Concentration camps.

In a sense, many of them "turned the other cheek," too. After 12 million Jewish cheeks, Hitler was stopped.

Maybe we can be a little too nervous - but it's a reaction to the tragedy that befell our ancestors only 60 or so years ago, because they weren't nervous enough.

The harsh reality of violence does not fully register until we have it effect us personally.

The first thing I should have told you is that my heart bleeds for you. It is my fault for being so insensitive that I just assumed that was already known. I have a wonderful Jewish friend who grew up in Egypt but was kicked out in the 1950's for being Jewish, he is very old and frail. I spoke of him awhile ago in that I was actually able to speak with him about Jesus after the outpouring of media on The Passion. He has family in Israel and just the other day he wound up in the hospital, his heart is not good and this whole thing is so hard on him. I am so afraid he is going to die. He must be one of the most sincere and sweet persons I have known. So knowing that about myself and my feelings for him I guess I just assume everyone would know that I feel this way.
Anyway, please pray for this man too that he comes to his spiritual understanding before his time comes to "fall asleep". I hate to see anyone die without being sure of what they believe

I really do pray for you and your pain, I am so sorry again if I did not come out that way.

Peace be with you all and may God's angels surround you and your families in loving protection during this horrible time.

I know this is slightly off the subject, but since some of the above posters brought up the subject...do you know, is the Jewish community upset about the recent decision in France outlawing the wearing of any obvious religious symbols in the public schools. I know that this law was targeted more specifically at Moslems in France, but I understand that the law also pertains to the wearing of Yamaka's (sp?) and also large crosses. Personally, this decision by a supposedly 'modern' government is VERY troubling.

Thanks for bringing this up; many people don't seem to realize that the legislation affects all faiths, not just Muslims. I find this move by the French gov't disturbing for two reasons:

1.) It is anti-religion. This shouldn't surprise us considering the direction Europe is headed, but it's a crazy law. Secular fascists.
2.) It is raising Muslim ire against Jews and Christians because they seem to think that other religions aren't affected. It's not just hijabs being banned, brothers and sisters.

You won't find it in Tanach, but it is clearly stated by Rav Claremont in Tractate Mutatis Mutandis (94:150) that Wolverine is a man. "For though his mien is that of an ravening animal, truly the Wolverine has a man's neshama."

See here is your whole problem Tribe I don't think the esteemed Rav Claremont was trying to say that Wolverine IS A MAN but more that he at times apears as a man and at that juncture that logic would dictate that if he sometimes apears as a man that he is not truely a man but something other than man.

Hi

This is your pal and brother Pastor George
I have attached a picture of where I used to work
Actually the place I used to work is now a big
hole in the ground filled with corpses

So if one of the buddies of those men who hurt so many people
and hurt the friends of mine that live in Isreal got blown up.
Please don't think less of me because I do not seem too
upset or if I don't pray for them.
Their god doesn't exist anyway
so there is no one to listen to those prayers.

Blessings
I am going to go puke now

When I read the headlines of the world condemning Israel,I cant help but think the Edmund Burke quote :The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.I am also reminded of Osirak in 1981.
Back then the world condemned Israel for attacking an Iraqi nuclear reactor even though 13 feet under there was a secret installation for use in developing an atomic weapon. They had 200 tons of yellowcake, the deadly powder for making plutonium.
Years later we now know what Saddam Hussein was capable of and what his diabolical intent was.
Who knows how many more people Yassin would have murdered.I wonder what took the Israelis so long to take out Yassin, they put up with him for years.
Its about time!
We must take evil like this seriously!
There is a Jewish saying that goes like this: Never Again!
