The retired priest from Billings comes and serves services at our mission when our priest-in-charge can't come. He's 80 years old. I just found out this morning that his wife, Matushka Isabel, passed away earlier this week. Her funeral will be Monday morning at 10 a.m. at the church. Please keep her and her husband, Fr. John Anderson, in your prayers. She was a wonderful, Godly woman and she will be greatly missed. She was diagnosed with cancer late last year and had to go through 2 rounds of chemo. It was in remission after the first round, but it came back again and she had to go through the second round. She was in remission again but came down with some kind of infection while they were traveling. I know that chemo trashes your immune system, so I think she didn't have any immunity against the infection. I imagine that she and Fr. John were married for at least 50 years, and he is going to be lost without her. He is not in very good health, and I know she looked after him very well. Their are 5 children and many grandchildren, so please keep all of them in your prayers.
Please remember Mtka. Isabel Anderson when you pray the Prayers for the Departed in your prayer rule, and please pray for Fr. John in other parts of your prayer rule. He is a wonderful, Godly person as well, and I can't even begin to imagine what it is going to be like for him to live without Mtka. Isabel. They loved each other very much.

Thank you for the prayers. I'm really afraid Fr. John could use your prayers. I read her obituary in the Billings paper and November 26th would have been their 57th wedding anniversary. He depended on her so much, that I'm really worried about him. He's diabetic and looks so frail that you can think that a good wind would blow him away.
A pannikida is being said for her tonight and her funeral service is tomorrow morning. A couple from our church is making the 3-1/2 hour drive to Billings. They left right after the typica service today. Someone told me that there is a winter storm warning for tonight and they have to cross one of the most dangerous passes in the state both coming and going, so please keep Connie and Jerry in your prayers.

Thank you very much. I know that Fr. will appreciate the prayers for his beloved Mtka Isabel and for himself.
