A pity it's there, where I can't post to it.

I have two children with ADHD. My eldest son is featured in Dr Christopher Green's book on ADHD and my wife has appeared on TV discussing raising children with ADHD. Oh, and I have this condition as well. We have supported and counselled other parents and provided educators with an understanding of this condition.

I would love to have participated in this forum and provided help and support for others, but because of an artificial distinction, I can't.

Have you ever considered becoming a Christian?

Have you ever considered becoming a Christian?
I am a Christian, and have been so since I was seven years of age. However, because I reject the nicene creed, this forum does not classify me as 'Christian'.

I understand the designation, and the need to draw clear lines for the purposes of this board (particularly for theological discussions), however, that means there are many so-called 'unorthodox' Christians here that are excluded from meaningful participation in forumswhere the content of one's faith is less important than it's existence. In other words, we are lumped in with the atheists, agnostics, wiccans and pagans that do not have any faith in Christ.

I fail to see how my participation in an ADHD forum is less relevant than my participation in the 'Fitness and Health' forum for example.

Feel free to PM me anytime - in the absence of any other way to communicate on this subject without hijacking another forum.

Erwin,

Thank you for creating the new forum. :)

I don't understand why this forum is in the Christian only/Struggles and Recovery Section of the Board. Is is possible for it to be moved to the Personal Section where the Health and Fitness Forum is located so that those who are not considered orthodox Christians can post in it? It is a neurological condition. It isn't classified as a mental illness.
