Do you guys know about this site? If anyone downloads the commentaries & figures out how to access them, please let me know!

Oh wow! What a great site. :)

Thanks for telling me about it--I'd never seen this before.

Were you not able to find the folder they downloaded to?

Okay, here's the scoop:

1. Click on the green button that says "downloads"
2. Scroll down the page until you see: e-Sword v7.1.0 application installation
3. Click on this link and download this program to your computer (this will take a little while). This basically gives you a KJV Bible, and is the "base" to which you add other downloads from the site (like daily devotionals) because these add-ons work through that program
4. After you've installed the basic e-sword program, click on whatever category you want to download in the "Download" section (Bibles, commentaries, dictionaries, graphics, extras, devotionals, STEP libraries).
5. Once you have clicked on a category, then click on the specific thing you want to download (for example, category=devotions, specific thing=Our Daily Walk)
6. Download this specific part.
7. Click on the e-sword program icon on your desktop. This will open the e-sword program and you'll see a page of the KJV Bible. Go to the top of the screen where it says "tools." You should see "devotions" there. If you didn't download "devotions" specifically then just look around on your toolbar at the top of your screen until you find the category of thing that you did download.

Umm . . . yeah, it's confusing! :)

Can I also mention the "Sword Project" http://www.crosswire.org/crosswire/, great site, nifty stuff and easier to use than e-sword.

thanx, I did all that, I just don't know how to get the commentary to comment on the passage I had selected. It shows commentaries are installed... oh well, I am going to try that other link, but thanx a lot! Sorry it took so long to get back here
