With so many people chosing 'Other', it would be nice to know what 'Other' really was. Any category that has 33% of all results needs to be divided a little better.

I used to go Church of Scotland for morning service, Baptist for evening service and YF, Episcopalian for house group, and Catholic for a bible study group.
Now I don't actually go to any, but thats circumstances rather than choice. i'd still be doing the rounds if i could.

"Watch out for people who try to dazzle you with big words and intellectual double-talk. They want to drag you off into endless arguments that never amount to anything. They spread their ideas through the empty traditions of human beings and the empty superstitions of spirit beings. But that's not the way of Christ." Colossians 2:8 (The Message)
Tell me how I can get this quote under my posts! I hate so many of the discussions on these forums because they never amount to anything! Even when it seems they would mean something at the end, so many of them don't. I'm going to look up that verse in other versions, too.

Prot·es·tant [ próttəstənt (http://encarta.msn.com/encnet/features/dictionary/Pronounce.aspx?search=protestant) ] (plural Prot·es·tants)
noun Definitions: 1. member of church rejecting papal authority: a member or adherent of any denomination of the Western Christian church that rejects papal authority and some fundamental Roman Catholic doctrines, and believes in justification by faith. The formulation of Protestants' beliefs began with the Reformation in the 16th century.

i was "raised" anglican, have attended a pentecostal church for two years now [mostly because of the youth program there], and also sometimes attend a baptist church, and i attend a community church for sunday night youth services twice a month.
i believe in unity, rather than division in the body of Christ.
we are all the Church. i am a Christian. i don't find division necessary.

I am a non denominational Bible believing Christian. There were no denominations in the time of Jesus within the Christian church and they went by Christian only so I don't feel a need to stay with one denomination although I feel a oneness with the Anabaptist faith I have a hard still identifying with one denom as I don't feel Jesus would be pleased with all of the division.

I was raised Lutheran and cannot remember not knowing Christ
I am now a member of a Southern Baptist church. At 58, I am closer to the Lord than I have ever been. I have more of a burden for the lost than I ever dreamed was possible.
I am not saying that many Lutheran's are not saved but rather that Baptists seem to put more empasis on reaching others for Christ. We are called to be "fishers of men".
I now feel like I am doing what He has called me to do. I sometimes think regretfully that I have wasted time in not following His calling. But I believe He forgives me for my shortcomings and is rejoicing that I am now living for Him.

I've always simply considered myself a Bible believing Christian. I have no loyalty to a particular denomination.

I did vote Pentecostal since I attend a Pentecostal church, but I don't like to label my faith. I consider myself more a bible believing Christian.

I am Catholic but read works of Martin Luther and enjoy the preaching of Spurgeon and other Protestant ministers.

I'm not a big fan of self identifying by denomination. why would I say "I follow paul" or "I follow Peter" when we all follow Jesus?

I am Word of Faith, which is not a formal denomination. Word of Faith believes pretty much the same as Baptists except we also believe in the spiritual gifts - healing, prosperity, speaking in tongues, etc.

I checked Other. I have been attending my home church since I was little which is a Non Denomination church.
Tho, recently, I have been attending a different church once a month and i like it just have no idea what its denomination actually.
Have always wanted to attend a CMA church bc my college sort of was CMA (Christian and Missionary Alliance) --and always wanted to try it out but never did! Anyone here go to a CMA church??? How is it?

I just refer to myself as having a relationship with Jesus Christ....
I have thought and came to this conclusion and believe that it is a good one. As of now, i do not belong to a church- i have yet to find the right one.

I am a Methodist. The denomination has its flaws (as they all do), but its foundation is solid (unlike some of its ideas of today). I hope it halts its fast track to being a liberal place and returns to its foundation though.
