This just hit me, In John chapter 20 verse 22 it says:
"he breathed on them and said to them,
"Receive the Ruach HaKodesh ( Holy Spirit) !"
I said the 10, and not the 11 because the next verse tells us that Thomas was not there when this happened, but when he was there and Yeshua came again to see them he did not repeat this for Thomas.
What do you see as the signifigance of this?
Some points to consider:
HaShem breathed on Adam
Yeshua had the Ruach in him while on earth but was only able to "pass it on" once he rose from the grave.
Was Thomas not sent out with the others?
Did Thomas receive the Ruach during Shavuot like the rest that were there.
The ten could preach the good news in everyone's language, was this what they recieved?
Sorry, my mind's racing today, must be too much coffee and chocolate.:P
