Okay, per request, I am adding a couple of pictures about a rainbow, erg, RING that we saw one afternoon a number of weeks ago. There's a story behind this: Dh and I are hoping to move, for many reasons... mainly to be nearer a Messnic congregation and also to be near our families. Well, TorahLover put in an application for a job in the MWest and we are waiting to hear. Now, a number of weeks ago, a dear friend of ours from church felt led of the Spirit to give us, flat out, a car. IF we stay here, we really have no need for this car... but if we move, it would be pretty much essential to us to have a second car. And out of the blue, one day, he just drove up, gave us the keys... it was amazing, humbling... and when we said goodbye, one of our children looked up and saw... this rainbow. Very strange... hardly a cloud in the sky, sun shining, very cold, yet there it was WAY up high and it was horizontal like a ring. Wanna see?
I know it's probably funny of me to add a few pics but we couldn't get the whole ring in one pic so at least this way, you get to see all of it ;)

Sounds like HaShem wants a covenant relationship with you Zemirah. :)
I have never seen a rain bow like that before, especially in a blue, blue sky.
It looks like you took the pictures from inside ( you said it was a cold day?) did you happen to go outside to see if there was more of it?

Actually, we were outside :) our porch is just visible there on the edgeo f the pic, but it was STRAIGHT right up above us, and widely circling all around us. We were pretty much in the middle of it. It went all the way 'round the circle, but it was fading enough not so see it so well on the one side of it, by the time DH grabbed the camera and made his way back outside to snap the pic. :) It was awesome!

Update on this (I just ran across it going back through old posts) for those who saw the sign of His promise to us so many months ago:
It took nearly a year, but the job came through and DH was offered it and accepted it in December, we moved in Jan and closed on our new house the other day... waiting on closing our old house.
G-d is faithful and His timing and plans flawless!

That is wonderful Zem, Baruch HaShem! I hope you are all settling in well, how do the children like the new place?
This thread reminds me, about a month ago when I was going upstairs to bed, I glanced up through the skylight in the hallway, only because I could tell the moon was out and noticed this huge ring around the moon. It wasn't like those that you usually see that are colored like a rainbow, set close to the moon and its supposed to mean rain the next day, but this one was huge and encircled the moon from such a distance I had to move around under the skylight to see it all. I remember now mentioning it to someone else a few days later and they said they saw it too.
Anyone else here see anything like that before?
Signs in the sky? :)

As a matter of fact, DH and I saw the same ring around the moon not quite a month back -- he was out taking a walk with the littlest two and he actually called me on the cell for us to step out and look at the moon and the ring around it. *nod*

That's so cool, Zemmy! It's encouraging to see HaShem working in the lives of those around us!
3 and a half years ago now I had a similar experience. We were trying desperately to get pregnant, and I was so discouraged. One day I walked outside just looking for some comfort in the peace and quiet of our back yard. I looked up and saw one of the prettiest, most colorful rainbows I had ever seen! I didn't know if it meant we would get pg, but I did know G-d was telling me to take comfort in Him. Not long after that, we got our positive pg test! And now we have not one, but two beautiful little girls.
And Sarah turns one year old today!!!
